I'm not faithful to a brand. I'm using Secret currently. But it must be solid.
I honestly do not know if what I do use it a combo or not. When I do a 5 mile walk in warmer weather though, I do perspire.

I use Allmay for sensitive skin—it’s both an antiperspirant and deodorant. I use it because it’s the only thing that doesn’t give me an itchy rash and even it seems to give me a very low level of irritation. I’ve used other brands in the past that have been discontinued. I think what I’m using now is going to be discontinued—I buy it on Amazon subscribe and save and they haven’t had it for a few months. They have the same one in a stick/gel though. I can use it okay; it just seems like a go through a stick every 2 weeks whereas the roll-on lasts about a month. I have another 1-2 roll-ons in the closet.

I don’t sweat a ton and even when I do there doesn’t seem to be much odor except, as @ronandannette mentioned upthread, when I am stressed. I’d love to go without, but that would probably stress me out. 🤣

I use Dove (usually the cucumber melon or revive scents). I used Secret for many years but started to break out in rashes under my arms from it. At first, I thought maybe I grabbed an old one that I had, so I bought a new one and ended up with the same issue. So, it was definitely something in it that was causing an issue for me.

Both, in a gel stick. Says it works for 72 hours but I have never tested that claim.

I use powder fresh Suave.
I used to use Secret, but when I lost my job and had to be more cost conscious I tried Suave. They claim that it lasts for 48 hours and for me, it does. So since I am spending more time around the house, only applying half as often has saved a lot of money. I like the coconut scent (I use coconut scented shower and hair products) but the powder fresh is fine too.

I use Degree solid - not too picky about scent, I just like the invisible (so it doesn't leave marks on clothes)

Dry Idea roll-on, which I have used for decades. IME, it’s the best brand; nothing else compares. I like the powder fresh scent, but have also used unscented. Hard to find in stores in recent years, so now I buy it from Amazon. Would be really disappointed if it gets discontinued, and I know I’m not alone, as there are legions of people who love this product as much as I do.

If anyone has a suggestion I should try, let me know. I use mostly Degree or Secret solid which are fine but feel like I need something stronger for summertime. I tried to go aluminum-free with Arm & Hammer gel stick, but in the summertime it just doesn't do the job as far as odor prevention goes, so I gave up on it unless it is January/February. I tried a clinical strength roll on that actually worked really well, but I think I was allergic to it or something, because anytime I used it my under arms itched constantly to the point of irritation so I stopped using that too. I heard Lume might be good but seems so pricey. Thoughts?
In the summer I will use Clinical Certain Dri Roll-On in addition to my regular clinical strength anti-perspirant/deodorant.

However, I will tell you do NOT use it right after shaving or when you are damp, it will burn. Since I shower/shave in the morning, I would use it at night.

I tried Lume last summer when it was an Amazon Prime Day special deal. I hated it. I kid you not, it smelled horrific. I can't even describe how awful the smell was. They said it would dissipate, to me I could still smell it. It was promptly returned. If you look at online reviews there is a subset of people that cannot get over the scent, I am one of those people. I am sure it works, but I didn't use it long enough to try. I gave it 2 days then I couldn't take smelling like that anymore. No one else smelled it, but if you smell stinky to yourself ... :sad2:.

I need to switch brands every two sticks or else they don't seem to work. I'm back to Degree now, after Secret clinical gave me a horrible rash with swollen lymph nodes.

That is the one I have (CertainDRI) and it really does work except the skin irritation. So maybe it was because of shaving because that's when I was putting it on, right after morning shower. I didn't think about that. Hmm that stinks about Lume -- might not be worth the effort to try it then.

Yes, you have to use the Certain Dri well after you showered and shaved. Sounds you are a morning shower person, so put it on at night before you go to bed and unless you are perspiring at the moment (it doesn't like damp skin either) you are good to go. If you are worried, run a blow dryer under your arms to make sure it is dry. Trust me, I know that sting & burn, it is not fun.

If the Certain Dri still gives you problems, try Lume. You could be part of the crowd that loves it. My only suggestion is to buy it on Amazon if you can since they have free returns. I love that about Amazon. (I am not sure if that is just for Prime Members but it is worry free shopping!)

Thanks I will give it a try!!

Degree, but it hasn't been doing such a great job recently. I am looking for something new.
Thanks, once again, for a great poll Slo!

I am not like super faithful to any brand, but I usually end up buying Suave, the stuff that's about $1..... or at least USED to be about $1, price has gone up. Usually just get the powder scent or tropical paradise.
