I'm a man who uses a razor handle with replaceable blades. I've never tried an electric razor, and I don't like the cheapo disposables.

Three or four times I got a shave in a barber shop with him using a straight edge razor sharpened on those leather belts. He uses the straight edge around my ears when I get a haircut.

My Mom bought me an electric razor for Christmas in my mid-20s. I never asked or even hinted for one. I tried it more than a few times, but I didn't like it as well as a regular razor with blades. I still used it occasionally for several years.

I used to use one of those "safety" razors with two sided blades (just like Dad) but switched to cartridges in my early 20s. I never could grow a good beard or mustache anyway. When I tried the hair grew all unevenly and I have face bald spots.

Now I only shave every three days or so. My company relaxed its no-beard rule about 10 years ago. And DW likes the stubble look. But after 4 or 5 days it looks crappy again.

Razor with blades. I use cheap disposables too. For some reason any “fancy” razor gives me ingrown hairs on my legs.
