What’s your opinion about rollercoasters?
Do you ride them now?
Did you ride them in the past?
(multiple choice)

For Me…..I love them - some more than others.
I also love trying new ones - on our recent trip we tried Tron and Guardians of the Galaxy. I loved loved loved Tron and just liked Guardians. For WDW coasters the order I like them is Tron, RR, SM and then GotG.

This ⬇️ is our Tron ride photo.

I never went on them for years. DH went on with the kids. Then kids left home, rotten kids. Then grandkids came and went on with grandpa. Then kidless trips for a few years and I went on with DH on thunder mountain. Now sadly, DH can't do them anymore.

Can’t ride them never could tried a couple times got sick as a dog each time - motion sickness pills didn’t help either so I gave up

I don’t like them much at all. In fact, the only one I ride at Disney is BTMRR. I don’t like SD, SM, 7DMT, or even the Barnstormer. I will not try Tron or GotG because I know just from looking at them that I won’t like them. I am not a thrill ride person at all, and hate that adrenaline feeling.

As my name implies, I love them. I used to travel almost every weekend during regional park season to ride a coaster somewhere.

I used to keep track of how many different coasters I had been on but lost that spreadsheet a while back. The last milestone I remember hitting is number 250 but I don’t know where I stand now. I’ve often thought about using one of the track record websites to redo the list to see how close I am to 300 and to start planning to get there.

I used to love them, but I’ve become claustrophobic in the past 10 years or so. I don’t like being strapped in. Now I mostly avoid them.

Love all the Disney coasters but don’t do any scary ones at other theme parks that are full of loops and steep drops.

Anything that requires more strapping in than an Indy car is not for me. I don't fit most of the new ones anyway.

I LOVE coasters! Guardians is great but I found Tron to be very mediocre. I have no desire to ride it ever again. Velocicoaster and Hagrid's at Universal are extremely fun.

I'm going to Busch Gardens Tampa for the first time this October and I'm very excited to ride Iron Gwazi and the other big coasters.

When I was a kid there was no rollercoaster I would not ride. I loved them all and as someone who has fairly severe motion sickness, I could ride them without feeling sick unlike many of the circle rides. But the motion sickness has caught up to me (probably some aging on my part and the fact that the newer coasters are continually getting bigger, faster and more thrilling) and I don’t enjoy them as much anymore and some I don’t enjoy at all.

I like some of them. I have problems with motion sickness on some.
I did not like GotG.
Haven't tried Tron yet....I will try it once. DH doesn't ride any of them anymore.
If the grand kids are with us, I will go on whatever they want so they can. But not always a good experience.

I only enjoy certain coasters in my old age. I generally avoid anything with vertical loops and inversions. The horizontal heartline rolls are fine.

I used to know the terms for the various elements but I’ve forgotten them. And I no longer care about the manufacturers, B&M or whatever.

I stopped counting credits in the mid 90s when it was about 300. I’m guessing my total is over 350 now, maybe higher, but I’m long retired from being a credit w(h)ore.

Some old favorites haven’t aged well (unlike me ;)). My current favorite is Twisted Timbers at Kings Dominion.

Still love coasters into my 60's. Grew up going to Cedar Point every year, but they have a lot more coasters now that I haven't tried. Least favorites are the older corkscrew type with the shoulder restraints (Hulk, Rock n roller at HS), my ears bang off the sides. Love Velocicoaster because it only has a lap bar (and good air time!) I like GotG, haven't tried Tron yet. We don't visit many other parks these days, just Disney and Universal, but maybe when grandson gets a bit bigger.

I would ride anything when younger, but I do not like that sensation you get when you flip over or have weighlessness. I wouldn't do things like that again - the big coasters.
I love Everest, BTMR, SDMT. I've never done SM because no one will do it with me. RR same thing and I know there's a roll.

I used to ride them more when I was a younger adult just because my son loved them. We've only been to Universal twice and that was the reason. Now, he can't ride most of them because he has nerve damage in his spinal cord so the bumpy ones are out. I do ride BTMRR and SDMT at WDW and used to ride EE but it makes me a little sick now. Last trip in April I got smart and took Bonine my first night there and every morning after and was able to ride EE, GoTG and Tron (even FOP) with no problems. My first time riding GoTG was on a previous trip and I swore to never ride it again because it made me sick. Bonine for the win though, since this last time I even was able to hear the song playing and ride it with my eyes open. They aren't a must do for me but I do enjoy them sometimes.
