I love coasters. My wife, not so much so I end up riding some of them myself. i haven’t got to ride TRON yet but my favorites at WDW are.

GotG(thought it was amazing)
Everest
RnR
Thunder Mt (at night)

I have always tolerated the coasters. I never turned down a ride despite being terrified and screaming through them. One... I didn't want to admit I couldn't do it. Two...I felt it added to our family experiences. Coasters were rated by the kids according to my scream depths. I look exactly the same in every ride photo taken .... holding on for dear life and mouth wide open in a scream. (Everyone is doing the agreed-on poses.) DH told me once before RNR that he loves riding coasters with me because I think I'm going to die... every single time.

Now, Tower of Terror and that dropping sensation... different story. I'll ride once per trip and then plant myself across the street while they ride it over and over.

Love coasters!

Although I love Disney, I don’t consider it a coaster destination. I really enjoy the rides, but their coasters aren’t in the big league and rightfully so. It doesn’t fit. (My favorite rides at both US parks aren’t coasters. WDW it’s Flight of Passage. DLR it’s GOTG-MB.)

My preference is smooth and fast. I prefer air time over loops. Millennium Force at Cedar Point is still my #1 coaster. Recently went back to Magic Mountain (previous visit was ‘93). Although I was happy I got to ride X2 and Tatsu, I would not be disappointed if I never rode them again. (Loved Twisted Colossus and Full Throttle, however). And I will give it to MM, Riddler’s Revenge was the first stand up I wasn’t beaten up by.

CP still has the Win over MM for me. Kings Island has a top 10 rides for me too with Diamondback and Mystic Timbers.

Yeah, you can tell I love coasters. 😉

I was never a big coaster guy, but I enjoyed several of WDW attractions. Now I deal with motion sickness (GOTG) and getting jerked around (Space Mtn) and it's just not fun for me. I guess Slinky Dog and 7DMT are ok but I don't know that I need to spend the time to stand in line for those. The cool thing about WDW is that there are so many ways to enjoy the experience that even without some of the attractions it's still the best place ever.:earsboy:

I like Disney coasters. Can’t do them back to back. Or in combination with other high motion rides (Space Mnt in combination with Star Tours).

Don’t visit amusement parks with large coasters but probably would enjoy them.

I lovelovelove coasters! All kinds. I loved GotG so much! They played 'September' when we rode, and we were laughing and singing along-it was my favorite ride that trip. Tron wasn't finished yet, so didn't get to ride that one, but I definitely will next trip... @slo did you find the leaning over uncomfortable when riding? I have arthritis in my back, and I don't know if holding that position will aggravate it or not.

I pretty much have aged out of coasters. Will still do Thunder. I've done all the others at WDW in the past, but between my back and heart issues, feel it best to watch others have the fun now. Never did any at Universal. Back in the 50's/60's when we had Riverview here in Chicago, I was always hesitant as a kid but gradually wound up doing them all, except for the Bobs. The Bobs had the reputation, I respected it, never did it.

I loved loved loved Tron and just liked Guardians.
I love your daily polls and most everything you post.....but you slide down my scale a little with this comment lol 😉
But only because I may or may not have a unhealthy love affair with Guardian's!! For me, it's the best theme park attraction ever!! so many great things to unpack on that ride and then the ride itself is top tier!! I do love me some TRON as well too

I only like certain ones, can’t do them if they have long steep drops. Hate the feeling it gives my stomach. I don’t mind smaller dips, or jerky, winding or even upside down.

Man, I haven't gotten September yet, but it's the best song in the bunch. In 3 rides, I've gotten Tears for Fears twice. 🙄

LOL!!
This made me laugh!!

I want to love GotG as much as everyone else - I really do, but I just can’t. Way to much going on in that ride for me - it’s a rollercoaster - it’s a spinning ride - it’s just too much going on for me. I do like it, I’m just not :yay: about it. I’ll take RR all day over GotG - less is more for me.

No - it was very comfortable.
The ride is pretty short, so I think you’ll be ok. 🙂👍🏼

I have always enjoyed a good roller coaster. I haven’t been on one in years as I am now in my seventies and have heart trouble. But, when I was younger — loved them!

I used to hate them as a kid, but would force myself to ride Tower of Terror. No one else in the family would even ride with me because they all are not a fan of rollercoasters. It was a weird thing, it scared the living daylights out of me and I would close my eyes right before the first drop and keep them closed the entire ride but I *had* to ride it. I guess to prove a point to myself? No other rides, just ToT.

I love them now, though. Super fun to go fast!
