Do you still DVR (digital video recorder) TV shows?
If yes….when was the last time you did this?
(multiple choice)

For Me….Yes, currently every week.
The Walking Dead and Yellowstone are the current TV shows getting DVRd.

*Inspiration for today’s poll is us watching The Walking Dead last night, from Sunday night. As we were going through our recordings we saw how many things we have saved from a long time ago compared to how little we have now. We used to use it all the time, not anymore :sad2:

We have several recordings set up w youtube TV. Daily local and national news, Walking Dead, Bob's Burgers, Abbott elem, and several others, used to have Better call Saul, also frequently 'tape ( I still say tape instead of record,) movies. Ours only lasts like 6 months I think .I love it because it's set up for things like Call the Midwife, which I forget about, and then get all excited when a new season starts taping.

We no longer have a DVR. We got rid of cable when we moved in July and got fiber internet. Even when we had it, what we used it for has been replaced by Disney+ bundle, Discovery+ and Peacock.

Use it - taping Dr Phil next three days on his special he’s doing ! I use it all the time !! I keep special movies in it they don’t play too often that I enjoy watching
Tape shows I want to watch and fall asleep trying to watch 🤣🤣

We don't record anything anymore.
We have Hulu......things we record are saved in the cloud.............which is nice. We can watch on different devices. Even a phone. Nice for travel

We have a Tivo in the garage, but don't use it because we don't get cable or broadcast TV anymore

Forced out of cable for a bit, I never went back. Exhausted everything I wanted to watch on streaming as I never watched TV anyways. That was her domain. So, I don't watch Hollywood stuff very much any more so no DVR or even streaming (though I do have Netflix, only watch a couple shows now and then when a new season comes.)

I don't have one at my house (don't have cable, only streaming services). I used to use it a bunch at my parents' house, but I don't really watch network tv anymore.

I record all my shows in case I want to watch them the day they come out but I stream 80% of the time. I’ve said I’d drop cable once they no longer had exclusive rights to VGK games but you can’t get stand alone, you have to buy a sports package and that costs more than I currently pay for cable so it and the DVR stay.

I record a lot of my shows weekly since shows are on at the same time. My satellite automatically records my shows. Best part is if shows come back for late season it catches it too When I didn’t realize it was on.

Even better when we are gone away on vacation it is all there when I come back.

For a minute I forgot about DVR, but there is 1 show I use it for. However, we are soon to be axing cable/directv so I won't use it anymore. We rarely watch "TV" in the traditional sense.

We still have cable and still watch network TV. I use DVR or record our shows because I hate watching commercials.
Me too. I tape a morning news program, most evening/prime time shows I watch, late night talk shows. Its amazing how fast I can get through a show with no commercials!

I like to watch the Voice, but only for the singing parts. I zip through all the stupid antics of the coaches. I can get through a 2 hour show in 40 minutes.
