It's amazing!! I always tell everyone that it is THE BEST time to go, but then again they go all out for Christmas and that is a GREAT time to go too!! LOL
I have 2. The newer one ( about 6 ft tall) works , the older one ( about 3 ft tall) does not. I may or may not replace the smaller one. I I do NOT stake in the yard because we still are cutting grass / mulching the leaves with the lawn mower. I put it close to the house between the perenials.
I used to have 2 or 3 but I gave them away about 4 years ago. Even with the tethers they would often blow over in the wind and I got tired of fixing them.
My local library has a Christmas decor exchange, and I brought the Halloween inflatables there, as well as 4 or 5 Xmas ones. Hopefully they found a good home.
There's someone in my neighborhood that has all three Hocus Pocus ones, but there's a problem: They put Mary in the middle instead of Winnifred. FAIL! You might as well post a sign begging to get your house TP'd.
I have one 4 ft one of a friendly ghost that says boo. Inherited from my mom…lol no one else wanted it.
It only goes up on Halloween night and sits at the bottom of my porch steps. Than goes down and in the same night after I know there will be no more coming.
I have two big ones and a small Mickey one that keeps falling over.
I love when they are on, hate when they are off and look gross on the lawn. If I am home they are usually on.
The biggest pita is the strings that are staked to the ground. Kids in my neighbor refuse to ignore my warnings about the strings and trip over them. Last year on Halloween, DH and I taped glow sticks to them so kids wouldn’t trip. (Kids insisted on taking pics in front of the big Mickey)
I bought a massive amount of glow sticks to outline them all again and will make a sign to hopefully avoid a kid tripping on them this year.
None…not a fan of any blow up decorations and just not that much into Halloween. But I do have fun seeing what others do in their yards for both Halloween and Christmas.
Currently, we have a cardboard skeleton next to the front door. We will put a carved pumpkin out on Halloween night. Never done anything more than that.
We've never had any because of our dogs but now that we don't have any DH and I have been contemplating on getting some. Probably not Halloween this year since its so close but I think we'll get some for Christmas.
