I have Xfinity, along with around 7 or 8 streaming services. They all serve a purpose and I don't have any plans on getting rid of any of them.

We got rid of DirecTV a couple of years ago because the price was getting out of hand, and switched to streaming. We pay for YouTubeTV, and my cousin has Netflix. We have Prime and all the free channels. I had Disney+ for awhile but I almost never watched it so I dropped that. Mostly I queue up YouTube videos during the day on the computer and then watch them on my TV at night.

YouTube TV does. I believe Hulu does as well.

Like @soccerdad72 posted, YouTube TV. And of course rabbit ears or an outdoor antenna in most places.

Other . We recently got rid of a satellite. A few years ago our next door neighbour rebuilt their house and it is much taller and since then we had issues with the satellite as their house blocked it. The satellite guy raised it as much as he could be a few months ago we started having more issues and they could not do anything about it so we cancelled it. We primarily use steaming services/ subscription and Apple TV and DH got a small antenna for the local channels. We have not missed the satellite so far.

For live TV we use DirecTV Stream.

We also have too many other streaming services, but we don't pay much for them. HBO Max (free with our cell phone service) Starz (1 year for $20), Prime Video (free with Prime, which we'd buy anyway), Kanopy (free, through our library), Hoopla (free, through another local library), Freevee (free), PBS ($5/month, deductible as a charitable donation) and Apple TV+ ($5/month).

We dropped Netflix last month and don't miss it. We'll probably get it back for a month when we can binge the next season of The Crown and Great British Baking Show, then drop it again.

We also have Netflix and Hulu primarily used by our kids. We have Amazon Prime, but rarely watch it. My kids also have Apple TV, which they pay for.

We have DirecTv, yet most of the stuff we watch is either streaming our could be found on an over the air antenna. The DVR part is nice though I suppose.

We have cable in my area and wish I could cancel it, but cable, internet and phone are bundled. If you cancel cable the cost for internet alone more than doubles.

I said other because we stream youtubetv and then pay for hulu, netflix, peacock, espn+ and disney +. This is still cheaper than Spectrum was when we cut the cable cord by $15 a month. When we had spectrum we were paying for cable and then the streaming subscriptions as well.

We dropped DirecTV about a year or so ago and now use YouTube TV for live TV and, like most, have other streaming like NetFlix, HBOMax and others.

This. We got rid of cable probably 3 years ago and switched to YouTube TV and also have a number of streaming services. We can "dvr" or "on demand" with YT TV as well.

I dropped Dish when I lost my job and have been getting by with an antenna and a big DVD collection. I am not sure what direction I will go when I find another job. I am not a huge fan of subscription plans, but traditional cable and satellite is so expensive. . .

What service you use also depends on where you live since every product isn't available in every area. I often wonder if the prices of the various offerings are all about the same once their initial price offers expires.
