This time of year pumpkin is everywhere - food, drink and scented items. For those that love pumpkin, this has gotta be one of your favorite times of the year. Some of you may like to smell pumpkin more than taste pumpkin. So, I’m calling for all the pumpkin lovers to let us know today……


Do you enjoy pumpkin scents?

For Me……I enjoy pumpkin scents, but I don’t purchase many pumpkin scents (I don’t purchase many scents). The once in awhile that I do buy a pumpkin scent it’ll be a candle.

I use some air freshener spray I have done soap in the past but I can’t get through it all before the season is over so I kind of just stick with the air freshener
I did try a pumpkin soap last year like a body soap it was OK
I’m more of a spring scented person I think than a fall person but I do like those scented pinecones

Nice timing; I was cleaning out the cupboard in DD32's bathroom on Sunday (they moved out in May) and came across some Bath&Body Works "Pumpkin Pecan Waffles" body lotion. I am not a big pumpkin spice person (although I may have bought some pumpkin hand soap in the past) but I gave this a sniff before discarding it and I really like it! Totally surprised by that, but I liked it enough that I"m hoping they "do" it again this fall!

Unfortunately my lungs don't like me to use scents anymore but back in the past I had several pumpkin scented candles.

I've had pumpkin-scented candles and liquid soap. (I saved the pumpkin soap dispenser and refilled it this year, but just with whatever I had on hand.)

Not that I dislike pumpkin scents, but I really never gravitated towards it. I'd take winter scents over pumpkin -although I love fall and detest winter.... if that makes any "scents"

I like the smell fine, but I don't think I have anything pumpkin scented. For fall I prefer apple scents. A Macintosh scented Yankee Candle is a must.

I enjoy the scents, but I can't burn candles in my house because of our birds. I don't want to harm them and scents like this can kill them.

I have to enjoy them in other people's homes.

Okay - I chose other. There's a difference. I love the smell/taste of pumpkin SPICE. This includes cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, etc.

The smell of pumpkin, not so much. I long ago bought what I thought was a pumpkin spice shake from Culvers. It was pumpkin.

I don't want to be covered in it, but I do like the fragrance in the room. I just ran out of my spray yesterday. If I remember, I may buy a plug in this weekend. Truth be told, I prefer the apple scented ones for the fall...although, it makes for a nice blend if you have an apple scented one and a separate pumpkin scented one going in the same room.

Like the taste of Pumpkin pie but that is about it as it relates to pumpkin. About the only air freshener type things I like are neutral scents like 'sea breeze' of 'linen'. If the house has some bad odor, I think you accomplish more opening the windows to air it out or eliminating whatever is causing that vs. using some scented fragrance to cover it up. Never use those ones that spray some oily substance into the air. They seem to make my eyes burn.
