I fondly remember these ones when I was a kid and again when DS was younger! - I always enjoyed mixing the flavors!! I never really loved the ICEE brand ones, though (my brother did) and don't think I've had an actual 7-11 Slurpee. The closest I've come lately is a strawberry Coolatta from Dunkin'.
I used to get them all the time when I was a kid, then 7/11 pulled out of MN and I don't think I've had one since. So it's probably been close to 30 years. My wife and kids got them today as they are in TX this week.
When my family would browse garage sales every Saturday we would always go to 7-11 and get Slurpees and Mom and Dad would get Coke Slurpees and I would get the blue Slurpee and they were so great tasting. And even today we get Slurpees on occasion but 7-11 did have good Slurpees and they have added new flavors such as cotton candy and grape and they keep adding more interesting flavors to the Slurpees each time. Here's something you didn't even know about Slurpees that you might know. Way before starring in The Avengers and Hawkeye Jeremy Renner used to promote Slurpees in commercials for 7-11 in the 2000's
