I pretty much only get them when I'm in Discovery Cove (so they're readily available and free).

I like them, but I rarely get one. Occasionally I will buy one on vacation, but that’s about it. I used to love the DQ ones, but our DQ closed down about 20 years ago.

I love a Coke ICEE. While not as good, as a kid, I was also a fan of Slush Puppies.

I like them a lot, but can't have them; they give me massive brain freeze no matter what I do when having one.

I don't need the sugar so haven't had one in about 20 years. Our Little League snack bar had an Icee machine and it was a huge money maker, even at only $1 per Icee. They took it out, no idea why.

I love them, but I rarely get one. Brain freezes!

I love Slurpees. Haven’t had one yet this summer; maybe will get one today. There are tons of 7-11s around here. My favorite is Coke.

Had as kid often enough, not something I would gravitate too, and never really bought for the kids so they don't drink them. Very sweet.

NOW in high school we went to the local Dairy Queen to get their Mr. Misty and used it as a base for some "spirits". :ssst:

Had the first slushy I've had in a while a little bit back in May. I have this complicated relationship with slushies where I go a long time without one, and then when I finally want and get one it's nowhere near as good as I expect it to be. It's a pretty vicious cycle. 😭

Not a fan. I was surprised when we moved to this area there seems to be a 7-11 on every corner!

Apparently, had a deprived childhood 😉 as there were no places that sold them anywhere near us.
We did have shaved ice with fruit syrup poured atop though. Tamarindo was my fav.

It's been about 12 years since I had a slurpee. My kids made us get them on free slurpee day way back then. When I was a kid I LOVED slurpees and would beg for them. Also, growing up in MD, we had snowballs all summer. Loved them too. But once I became an adult I no longer really cared to have either. As its just sugar on ice. Many other things I like to splurge the calories on. Much prefer ice cream. Or a cocktail. Lol.

Also liked Italian ices as a kid too. But also outgrew those. Though if I was given a free choice right now of the 3 (slurpee, snowball or Italian ice) I would definitely pick the Italian ice. OC, MD boardwalk had a great place to get them.

I don't think I've ever had a Slurpee, but back when I was a kid I was sometimes able to get an ICEE when we went to Kmart. I probably haven't had one since I was 7 or 8 years old!

I'm not against them or anything but I don't really have the desire to seek them out. I'd rather have a Jamba Juice or Frappuccino!

I like them but mostly consider them on vacation and road trips. When I was very pregnant at this time of the year in the heat with my eldest I lived on them.

I love them but only have a few times a year. My first choice is Coke then pina colada and then Mountain Dew.

I love them but being diabetic they are a big no now.
Kids buy them all the time. I sometimes steal a sip.

Now a days its just diet coke or sugar free ice tea for me with lots of ice.

Our city if the Slurpee Capital of the World.
Same 😥
