I had two for a little bit in high school and college. One was working at the local Six Flags, and the other was little league umpire. Six Flags was basically full time, and umping would be 2 or 3 games a week.

I am a teacher. I have tutored and taught summer school in the past. We also would board dogs (mostly for family and friends) from time to time.

Nothing extra at the moment or in the near future.

In HS, I worked full time over the summer and part time during the rest of the year waitressing and then part time babysitting ever weekend. In college, I worked full time waitressing over the summer and had 3 part time (total of 50 hrs a week) jobs during the school year…I worked in the cafeteria, typed the student union news letter and tutored inner city HS kids on a govt grant. I also freelanced typing other kids term papers.

Only for about seven weeks.
My main job was Wednesday thru Sunday 7 am to 3 pm. My temporary side gig was Monday thru Friday 3:30 pm to 11:30 pm. Fortunately the job sites were 9 blocks apart. My main job was one I took working at Budget Rent A Car while looking for a job in Broadcasting. The side gig was a temporary project at a TV station......one that kept my foot in the door there and I did get hired on permanently a few weeks after the special project ended.

When I divorced in 2016, I needed to work a second job to pay bills but I also put half of that money towards vacations so that I didn't feel like I was only working. I got remarried in 2023 and no longer need to work the second job.

I've had a couple of side-gigs over the years that were started when I wasn't working (SAHM), but I continued them, on and off, after I finished college and started teaching. In the early days of eBay, I sold lots of baby quilts. Later, after learning some HTML and coldfusion, I worked part-time for a company maintaining/updating their website and building their annual convention websites. That little gig provided some great vacations over the years. After sewing some masks for my own family during the pandemic, I was inundated with requests and literally sold them as fast as I could make them. Once the masks came off, that gig was over. Retirement is just around the corner and I'm thinking about going back to the quilts again. :)

Growing up and as a younger adult I was in farming. I guess being a farmer is considered a single job title, but boy oh boy did it involve many different areas of concentration. :)

I have had 2 jobs in the past but not now.

I had several part-time jobs at various points during high school and college. When my husband and I were newlywed and childless we each had "day jobs" and we worked together at a second "fun job" -- we got to hang out together, we were making money instead of spending it, etc. Neither of us has had a second job since the kids came around.

I almost always have 2 jobs at once, but in the past had up to 5 (4 part-time, worked about 80 hours/week, which some people do with 1 job). I live in a high COL area, and at one point I was saving for the downpayment on my condo. Down to 1 full-time and one part-time and it works for me. Even when I don't need the extra money, I'm just so used to it that if I have just one job, I feel lazy.

Most of the time just one, but there were a few times I doubled-up with 2 part-time jobs or a full-time position and a very part-time side-gig.

When I had a regular job in banking, I sometimes worked kids' birthday parties on the weekends at a gym.

At one point I was nannying 2-3 days a week and substitute teaching the rest of the week.

And way back in college, I worked for the campus resume service and also typed papers in my dorm room. (But even together, those only added up to part-time.)

Work my regular job, babysat one day a week, have a social media account that does well, and do door dash when need be. I stopped babysitting (my kiddo started preschool) right around the time my dad got really bad so I was taking care of him a couple days a week until he passed away last month. That wasn't a job but I'm grateful that what I do right now allowed the flexibility to care for him in his last year. I'm always willing to pick up side gigs to help pay down debt.

Never had more than one paid job at a time. Have had multiple volunteer jobs in addition to one paid job

I know you were going through a lot with your dad and wanted to say I'm sorry for your loss.

Thank you so much. He lived a great life and I'm honored that I was able to help him in his last months and days. I could not have asked for a better dad. He was a Marine Drill Sergeant, but he was kind and gentle and loving. An amazing dad and a wonderful grandparent to my niece and nephew. He is deeply missed.
