I generally avoid muffins so I voted "I don't eat muffins." However I have eaten muffins and either way would be fine with me.

@Dan Murphy I remember when muffins and bagels were supposedly healthy. The more I think about that the funnier it gets. "Don't eat a piece of toast, eat an entire muffin the size of your fist..:rotfl2:

I don't like muffins. Well, actually I can take them or leave them; rather have a doughnut.

Usually heated with butter. But, I'm with the doughnut poster. Would rather have a butternut doughnut!

Muffins aren't a favorite of mine, so I'm usually OK passing them up. I don't usually eat mine warm unless they're fresh from the oven, or borderline stale.

Not a muffin person; I don't make them or buy them to bring home. On occasion when they're served somewhere and I have one, it's never heated. It wouldn't occur to me to heat it.

Store-bought, almost always warmed up. Either microwaved 10-20 sec, or split top to bottom, slathered with butter, and run under the broiler.
Homemade, either, except for raisin bran - those need the butter 'n' broiler treatment.
Restaurant - always grilled if I can get them that way. Otherwise I'll order some other carb.

I bake muffins weekly for us to have throughout the week. So while I love a warm muffin, I don't get around to warming them up until it's cold out. Since we're in the summer, we'd all rather have them at room temp or cold.

It’s been awhile since I bought a muffin, but I would eat it room temperature.

Always eat the ones at home at room temperature. That includes ones we have made or purchased. I always put butter on them & jam if it is corn muffins. If I get one out will eat at whatever temperature they serve it.
Of course English Muffins aren't the same and they always get toasted.

I think it was oat bran muffins and bagels that were supposedly “healthy.” About 30 years ago there was this BIG CRAZE about oat bran being the miracle food that will prevent all ills.

Too bad everything with oat bran tasted like sawdust. And later studies showed that the fad was pretty much snake oil.

I always warm up a muffin. I make banana-corn muffins that I warm and split and spread with peanut butter. They are delicious and are a complete protein.

Like getting up Early on Sunday morning and going to the bakery when they open to get warm muffins and Danishes for the day. the day after room temp works.
