It’s the last day of the month folks . This summer is flying by

How do you store your cereal?
Do you keep it in the original box or do you put it in a container?
Some cereal comes in bags - if you buy those, do you put that in a container?
(multiple choice)

For Me…..My cereal always stays in the original box. I have considered putting my cereal in containers, but i never get around to it.

My cereal comes in a box. But inside the box is a bag. The box gets thrown out when the cereal is opened, and it stays in the bag with a clip. Though, we don't go through much cereal at all. Maybe 4-6 boxes in a year.

We kept in the box for as long as I can remember until one day we found a mouse. Now every bit of food is in a container. It was field mouse my husband accidentally trapped in the maintenance shed. It chewed through the drywall and was in the house. I tried to chase it out the door and it went back out where it came in. We plugged the hole. Put down d con and have seen no more evidence but it grossed me out so anything that can be chewed through is not secured enough for me.

When the kids were small, we had one big cereal container. When there were 4 or 5 open boxes in the cupboard, we’d mix them into the container, and each bowl that was poured was like eating bits and bites. Lol. It was kind of fun and exciting, but we haven’t done it in years.

I keep mine in it's original container - either the box or bag. I do have the storage containers but I use them for other things like dry dog food.

Huge Tupperware fan here - all cereal in Tupperware cereal box plus i had family member who labeled everything in pantry so its super organized
If its not in glass or a can it goes into Tupperware or a glass jar ( pasta ) no bags in my pantry !

I keep cereal in the original boxes, but I do occasionally use "cereal" containers for cat food. (I'd actually like to find a medium-sized, reasonably-priced, one that is divided into two sides, specifically for that.)

We eat very little cereal. Only oatmeal really and I buy it in huge containers from Costco.
So containers, and the other part of the bag gets a clip and back in the original box.
I do also have Rice Krispies to make treats. Those stay in the inner bag and go in a container. I write the expiration date on the bag.

We are again organizing twins, haha. The exception is pasta, for my space it fits better in the original container. Everything else goes into Sistema Clip it containers. Keeps things fresh, organized and easy to access.

I don’t eat cold cereal but my family does and I have them in the habit of refilling the containers as needed.

I keep cereal in the box and use a chip clip to keep the bag closed.
We do the same. Like others, we use a Tupperware container for cat food. Occasionally I buy a double pack of cereal from BJ’s (large box with two bags inside), and use the bags one at a time and clip them. Really should get another container for that, since it makes it easier to pour.

Once you’ve had a mouse or bugs you go to containers and never look back - food cost too much to have to throw it out
