I liked the original concept of Post-It notes, but not the execution. The Post-Its were sticky ONCE. If someone or something knocked the sticky note off, it would NOT stay on, long term for a second time. It turned to confetti, possibly lost on the floor or underneath the desk. So, the whole purpose of using it to remind one of something was gone.
I read they made a stronger Post-It note glue. But, have never tried it. I'm a "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on ME," sort of person. When I NEED a reminder, I NEED the reminder to stay until
I decide to remove it. So, I've been leery of trying them a second time.
I have switched to digital "sticky notes" and a List app on my phone called ColorNote which I love.
And a while back, I got the Post-it Super Sticky Dry Erase Surface for the front corner of my kitchen cabinet to remind me to get or replace certain foods, etc., which I like. It's like a sheet of self adhesive Contact paper that works like a Dry Erase board.
In 2020, 3M released the Post-it Flex Write Surface – a whiteboard surface that can be written on with dry erase and permanent markers without leaving stains behind when cleaned with water and soap.
Yes, that's it.
