The four corners of the contiguous United States are Washington, California, Florida and Maine.
Which of those states have you visited?
Do you live in one of those states?
(multiple choice)

For Me….I’ve visited Florida several times for vacations, and I’ve visited Washington as a kid to visit my mom’s brother that lives there.

*Inspiration for today’s poll is DD18 and I are planning on returning to the lower right corner next year for a WDW girls trip.

Been to all 4.

Bangor, Maine holds a sweet spot in my heart. It is where dh and I first got to know each other -- crew layover. That was back in the day when the entire crew would go down for dinner/drinks together. The captain on that trip still says if it wasn't for him we would never be married. :rotfl:

Born in ME and visited it several times and visit Fl as often as I can - often thought of moving there - would love to see the other two

I've been to Florida the most and then California. I visited Washington as a kid not too long after Mount St Helens blew. Dad wanted to see it and that became part of our next vacation. I'll never forget the destruction I saw. I have not been to Maine, although I've always heard how beautiful it is. :)

I've been to all four.

Like every other person on the boards, I go to Florida at least once, usually 2 or 3 times a year.

DH has family in Washington state (and Oregon too) so we go out there every few years. I can't tell you how much I love going to Olympic, Mt. Rainier and Mt. St. Helens.

We've been to California several times as well. DH and I honeymooned in San Francisco. (DH's grandparents lived in Long Beach, but they're long gone.) We tend to make it to DLR once every few years.

And I've been to Maine once. On a day trip from NH. Ate lobster, saw the coast.

I've been to all 4. Plus, seen the southern most / eastern most / western most points of the contiguous US in those states - Key West in FL, Quoddy Head State Park in ME, Cape Flattery in WA.

I’ve visited all 4.
Maine has 4 memories. A friend of my parents had a dairy farm which we visited twice during hunting season when I was younger than 10 In the 1940’s. We lived in NYC and I had no farm experience.
I learned to tell time, so I would know when milking time was.
There was an outhouse attached to the house. They had running water in the kitchen but no bathroom.
There was an old fashioned wood burning cook stove and a Ben Franklin stove for heat.
There was a cow barn. My hands were too small to milk the cows. Dick squirted milk in my mouth from the cow. I thought it was fun to clean the barn. There were kittens in the barn.
The other states have memories. But nothing like Maine.
