I got my passport in 2019 as my wife and I started planning a trip to France for my 40th birthday in 2021. Still hasn't been used. Wife is looking at a Bahamanian cruise for her 40th and our 15th anniversary in 2024. Applied for GE in March since I got a new card that will pay for it, still waiting for approval.

Have had one for about 30 years, and will renew when necessary. Lots of countries on my bucket list, still to be seen. :bitelip:

Of course! Can’t imagine never leaving the country. I live an hour from the border.

OP don’t you live in Michigan? Don’t you ever hop over the border?

I have had a passport for decades, and have always renewed it prior to its expiring.

My DH always has a current passport as he travels a lot for work and sometimes internationally. I had one that I first got shortly after we married so that I could visit him. Oldest DD was 6 weeks old when she got her first one and went to England with me and DH when he was working there. Once I had 2 more kids we stopped traveling with DH and I let the passports expire for me and DD. She ended up renewing hers while she was in college and has used hers quite a bit. I renewed mine and got one for younger DD’s in 2021 when we were considering a cruise.

I have had a current passport since I was 19. Always renew it. I normally use it every other year.

I've had one since I was 13. I travel internationally just about every year (twice some years, including this year!) Can't imagine not having one or not leaving the country.

I've had one since I was 6. Mine expires next year and it's time for my 5yo to get one too!

Military kid, got my first passport as an infant and have had one all my life.

My husband and I got our passports for our cruise this past January. I have an appointment to get one for my daughter next month. We don't have solid plans, but we're kicking the idea of an Alaskan cruise, so we don't want a hang up when we decide to go ahead and book it.

Had one for years, but wasn't sure how to handle the poll since I'd gotten my passport and passport card renewed without any gaps until 2020 when my passport expired. I just renewed my passport (with the limited release online process) near the end of last year.
