Last wedding I went to was my son's in 2016. Just haven't been any weddings at all among my group of friends since. He was 29, and most of his childhood friends got married before him A few co-workers have gotten married but nobody I was close enough to to expect an invitation. However, as I think about it, most of them got married either thousands of miles away in their hometowns, or just the bride and groom went to the County Recorders office with a couple friends and had a civil ceremony.

My folks anniversary was a summer one, June 12th.

Yes. That's my one photo here on the DIS. It was July 12th. They have been married almost 9 years and have given me two beautiful grandchildren.

We're not going to any weddings thus simmer. We have been to many, tho, over the past 10-15 years as our kids and nieces and nephews and friends' kids started marrying.

DD is getting married on June 18. Technically still spring.

Congratulations - June is a great month for a wedding.

Our anniversary is tomorrow too.

We go to a small church. I was going to get a cake for Sunday, but last week there was cupcakes and they hardly went. Sooooo instead I’m going to have a tray with Hershey kisses and hugs and bags of nuts . My DDIL is making a sign. Happy 45th anniversary, …….45 years of hugs and kisses and we’re still nuts about each other.

Our anniversary was yesterday. We went to a wedding in May, so not exactly summer. The first of DD21's friends to get married.

None this year but have attended a few. Did attend one a month ago & was invited to another we didn't attend. But that was still Spring. My Sister had a summer wedding as did my Parents and Maternal Grandparents. Along with other family & friends.
We got married in the fall.

No wedding’s that I know about. Our wedding anniversary is later this month (27 years).

We were invited to a wedding in May but it was out of town and the same weekend as both my nieces’ graduations, so we didn’t go. (They are my youngest nieces and I’ve been to all the other nieces and nephews graduations so I didn’t feel like I could skip theirs.)

The bride is my good friend’s daughter, and will be the first wedding of the “younger generation,” but I think there will probably be more coming up! We’re moving into that stage of life where “the kids” are starting to get married.

No summer weddings that I know about this year. We have one niece that isn’t married but has been living with someone for years. I asked my sister in law last week if they had any plans to get married and she said maybe someday, but it will be low key and probably on a mountain. That sounds like a good idea to me.

My 85 year MIL is getting married in 3 weeks and most likely not be there due DH's job (the oldest brother is not coming too because of the wedding date did not work for him too). I having a fun time teasing dh that he is not only a step father, but he is also getting a step brother and sister for his birthday . We don't really know the groom too well, but we seen him on past trips as an usher at their church and over events. The wedding is being officiated by the priest who did the sermon at our wedding mass plus reception blessing/toast. The priest that did the official vows and most prayers/readings just passed on. We had 3 other officiants up there too (MIL planned most the religious parts so no clue on how we ended up with 5 not including the church priest that was not involved (he was moving to a different place).

My wedding was a July wedding and on our 25th anniversary weekend, our flower girl got married. My youngest uncle and his wife are celebrating 30 years next week (I caught the bouquet and 5 months later...met dh).
