As many of you know, many times my poll subjects are inspired by my life events. We have a big life event happening tomorrow, which is my DD21 is graduating from college with a Bachelor’s degree in Health Science. She is the first person at her college to complete this degree in 3 years - definitely a proud parent moment. This got me thinking……how many other people have someone in their life graduating from something this year? So let’s brag about the graduates in our lives…….

Will you be celebrating a graduation this year?
If yes……who is it?
What level of school is the graduate graduating from?
(multiple choice)

For Me…….As I mentioned above, my DD21 is graduating from college tomorrow. For her, it’s kind of like graduating from middle school and going into high school, because she will be starting grad school in August. When she graduates from that in three years, with her doctorate in occupational therapy, that will be a huge moment for our family. I never went through the college graduation ceremony, and nor did my husband, we just got our degree and went on with life - I have a lot of regret about that today. So because we didn’t do that, we are very excited to watch our daughter walk that stage tomorrow to get her degree.

We do have another graduate this year and that is my neighbor’s daughter, who is graduating from high school. I’ve known her since she’s been born, and all of my neighbor’s daughters (2 houses) are like nieces to me (I’ve known them all since they’ve been born). I’m looking forward to that graduation party probably in June.

My grand niece will be graduating from HS; the oldest of my Mom's (may she RIP) 18 grandchildren. :)

We have two nephews graduating HS this year (my sister’s and my brother’s sons).

Congrats to your daughter!! My eldest daughter is graduating from high school, and I'm having ALL the feelings. I'm so excited for her next steps and to see her achieve great things in college, but I just can't imagine what the house is going to feel like without her!

One of my daughter graduated yesterday with a degree in finance, honors college (so two ceremonies), fly home in a few hours (she’s driving back next week). Heading to Boston next weekend for my daughter’s doctorate in PT graduation (3 year program). Four kids down, one more college graduation next May.

My daughter graduated UDel in 3 years, exercise science, before BU DPT. My daughter just graduated from Clemson, 4 years, but 160 credits (could’ve graduated easily a year ago but chose not to, wanted to take as many classes as she could, math minor, accounting minor). Congratulations!

Congratulations Katie !!! A job so well done !!! 👍 you have two very proud parents !! Enjoy your graduation ceremony in a nice dinner you’re going to have!! you’ve done an amazing job you should be very proud of yourself!!!

My youngest son, my baby, is graduating high school in a couple of weeks. So very proud of him. Plus all of his friends since kindergarten, even though most go to a different high school. UTK in the fall.

Congrats to you (and your daughter of course!) My niece graduated with her bachelor's degree last weekend -- and she is going on to grad school next year.

The extended family has a lot of stair-stepped cousins, so we've had a graduation of either high school or college for the last 6 years... and will likely have one at least for the next 3 (assuming everyone graduates on time.)

One graduate this year - the grandson of my niece. They live 500 miles away and we’re not super-close; it’s easy to forget even how old the kids are. I hadn’t been aware he was graduating so the pictures they sent were a happy little surprise. :goodvibes

This is a crazy year. Almost ALL of my TAs are graduating. These are the people with whom I've worked, commiserated, and become friends with over the past 4-5 years. I couldn't do my job without their support, but even more important is the camaraderie that has built over the semesters that has made it easier to come to work every day. Three will be awarded Masters degrees and two have earned their PhDs. I am losing 5 of my 6 TAs... I will be lost in the fall when I have to start training a whole new group, but mostly, I'm going to miss them all SO MUCH.

I have a friend who volunteers at the animal shelter with me who has a grandchild graduating from veterinary school this year. I don't believe I have any others in my life that I'm aware of.

I work at a local university. The big ceremony with 2500+ graduates is tomorrow. Monday through Thursday next week will be the smaller college level ceremonies where the names will be called and the graduates walk across the stage. I am working 3 of the smaller ceremonies. My daughter's best friend is getting her Master's degree and then leaving for Australia for 4 years for her Ph.D.

Grandson Jeremy (on the left in both pictures in my signature), Natalie's oldest, will be graduating high school in a couple weeks. Time sure does fly, way too fast. And we do have the daughter of very, very good friends graduating college.

Congratulations to Katie, Sandy, and to you guys also. Job well done. And congratulations to all those who have graduates here, so nice to read about them all. Jobs well done all around. 👨‍🎓👩‍🎓
