As many of you know, many times my poll subjects are inspired by my life events. We have a big life event happening tomorrow, which is my DD21 is graduating from college with a Bachelor’s degree in Health Science. She is the first person at her college to complete this degree in 3 years - definitely a proud parent moment. This got me thinking……how many other people have someone in their life graduating from something this year? So let’s brag about the graduates in our lives…….
Will you be celebrating a graduation this year?
If yes……who is it?
What level of school is the graduate graduating from?
(multiple choice)
For Me…….As I mentioned above, my DD21 is graduating from college tomorrow. For her, it’s kind of like graduating from middle school and going into high school, because she will be starting grad school in August. When she graduates from that in three years, with her doctorate in occupational therapy, that will be a huge moment for our family. I never went through the college graduation ceremony, and nor did my husband, we just got our degree and went on with life - I have a lot of regret about that today. So because we didn’t do that, we are very excited to watch our daughter walk that stage tomorrow to get her degree.
We do have another graduate this year and that is my neighbor’s daughter, who is graduating from high school. I’ve known her since she’s been born, and all of my neighbor’s daughters (2 houses) are like nieces to me (I’ve known them all since they’ve been born). I’m looking forward to that graduation party probably in June.
