Isn’t it fun when you try something new and you love it? Thats me with Pokey sticks. When we were in Japan (Epcot), we walked to the very back of the gift shop to find a food area (we never walked to the back of the store in the past). Immediately, my DD21 saw Pokey sticks in different flavors and she was very excited, so I bought her the chocolate ones. My DH and I tried them and I couldn’t believe how good they were, and I ended up eating more of them than DD - LOL! For those that don’t know what Pokey sticks are, here ya go…..

If you haven’t tried these and are interested in trying them, you can buy them at some stores (I’ve seen them at Walgreens), when you go to Japan at Epcot or Amazon (you can find everything at Amazon - LOL!). So, let’s discuss these skinny sticks of wonderfulness…..

Have you had Pokey sticks?
If yes, what is your opinion?
What flavor(s) have you had?
(multiple choice)

For Me……As I mentioned above, I love them! I’ve only had the chocolate, but that will soon change - I ordered multiple flavors from Amazon yesterday to see if I’ll like other flavors. I’m so excited to get them. I also ordered a large bag for DD21’s Easter basket.

I don't think I've ever tried them, but I remember from doing care packages that a couple of DS's friends at college liked them.

We used to buy Pocky sticks at Japan's store in Epcot back when our children were kids. This was well before they went on sale in the stores where we live. I've only had the chocolate sticks but am willing to try cookies and cream. :)

Yes they are yummy- love the chocolate ones - love trying some of the items in that store they have some very interesting things in there !

I have tried them. They were okay. I never buy them anymore. DD used to like them, but can't eat them anymore.
Most of our grocery stores and Target, Walmart have them.

I've had chocolate dipped breadsticks before, did not know they had a name. They were good, I like most anything sweet. Marie has bought Nutella Breadsticks To Go for the grandkids over the years, kind of a make it yourself Pocky I guess. If those are in the house I'll 'sneak' one or two out of the container.

And I like the plain bresdsticks some Italian restaurants serve, though I guess not really a Pocky. Chocolate covered pretzel sticks too.

I definitely have enjoyed cookies like these. I think I will try some at Epcot. These are my favorite similar cookie. These are filled with flavor, so different than what you describe.

We’ve been eating them for years - our regular Japanese place gives everyone a box on their way out. They are OK, very similar to an unsalted pretzel dipped in chocolate. Nothing to write home about and although I usually eat one or two, I don’t care for them enough to ever buy them.

I like Pocky. DH sometimes gets a variety case from Costco (milk chocolate, dark chocolate, cookies and cream, strawberries and cream). I wouldn't go out of my way for them, but they are tasty if they're around.

I've had them before. There was a Japanese market near my first post-graduation job (mid-1990s) and one of my co-workers liked to go there to buy candy and sweets. I'm not sure if I've ever noticed them at the Japan pavilion.

I like them and would happily accept if someone offered me one, but I probably wouldn't search them out to purchase.

I read the title POKEY sticks and thought. This is going to be an interesting poll!

Oh, yeah..have had PoCky 😉 sticks before. They are in all of our grocery stores and Trader Joe’s as well.

This seems like something found in a gift basket of miscellaneous snacks/treats, pretty sure that's how I sampled them. They're ok:)

Pocky. I used to buy it once in while as a treat for the kids in my family. Have only had the chocolate and like it, but not something I’d buy regularly.
