Not certain that I've ever done one, but voted "can't remember last time" just in case.

I do them frequently. I love all kinds of
puzzles. I like them to be challenging, but give up when I start having to google answers. ;)

I've done them in the past but can't recall when I last did one. But, I am a word knowledge type person, looking up online the meanings of words that I come across that are new to me.

I used to buy crossword and word game magazines but I can’t remember the last time I did.

How can anybody figure out those diagramless crosswords and other oddball puzzles?

I like working on a hard one--that really makes me think and concentrate and forget my troubles. I don't mind if I get to a point where I have to leave them blank. It still gave me a period of time to use my brain and focus. I don' care if I can't finish it. I know what I know and nothing more, haha!

I love Sudoku puzzles more, though. And I do the Spelling Bee in the digital NYT, too!

I like them if they are the right difficulty (i.e. I can't get all the answers on the first run through, but I get enough that I can usually figure out the other ones eventually.)

On the other hand, I am not a fan of Soduku. I feel like I *should* like it... but I just don't.

My mom was really into crossword puzzles, but they aren’t my favorite. For a long road trip, I used to buy one of those variety puzzle books, that had all sorts of puzzles including a few easy to moderate crosswords. I have trouble doing puzzles in the car for long periods though, as it tends to make me motion sick. I think we did Mad Libs in the car on road trips more than puzzles, but I liked something to do in the hotels on the road in the days before internet and entire libraries on an e-reader. Now I just take my iPad.

It's one of the game apps on my phone and I play many every day. It's a free app called Daily Themed Crosswords if anyone else is interested in checking it out. There are three daily and many others available to play. I don't care for the stupid ads but so many of my games have ads that I'm used to suffering through.

I enjoy crossword puzzles.
I have them loaded on my phone and tablet. I don't get to them very often though.
Too many other things keep getting in the way

Interesting that the % of people that enjoy hard puzzles matches the % of people that do them every day, AND the % of people who enjoy challenging puzzles matches the % that can't remember the last time they did one.

Crossword puzzles taught me that there’s a city in Oklahoma called Enid. I likely would never have known otherwise.

I can’t recall when I last did one, but like them occasionally. I prefer logic puzzles, but don’t do those often either.

I have a digital subscription to the NYT and do their crossword a few times a week (as well as wordle and spelling bee almost daily). I've always liked word games and puzzles, and I love being able to do them from my phone during those short periods of wasted time spent waiting for this or that.
We do too! Love the NYT crosswords and wordle and spelling bee! So challenging and enjoyable.!

My grandma did the one in the newspaper every day of her life. Whenever she babysat me, we worked on it together. I still love doing them. I prefer challenging to hard ones. I have a crossword app on my phone, and sometimes I buy the variety puzzle magazines.
Ohhh...this just triggered a memory of my grandmother, who loved crosswords. She would take the daily crossword out of the paper and stick it on a clipboard. It was always to hand, since she and my grandfather sat in the kitchen most days by a sunny window at the kitchen table. She was a whiz at them, and when she was stumped she had a dogeared crossword dictionary she'd refer to for possible answers. I can see her in my mind's eye right now sat by the window working on the crossword while having her daily glass of beer.

I enjoy easier ones, and attempt harder ones, but I will be checking answers!

Sudokus are definitely more my game.

I do either with paper and pencil, not on line.
