We have a loveseat and a couch that are almost 10 years old. They are still in good shape structurally but I hate the blue color they are. So 2 years ago when we moved to our new house I bought slipcovers from Target. They are dark red and at first I loved them. They looked clean, stylish and colorful.
Fast forward to now.... I HATE slipcovers. I have to fix them constantly. I HATE them.
I have to find another alternative to what I have now. The slipcovers are starting to look bad from wear and tear. It's time to do SOMETHING, but I don't know what that is.
Is there anything else I can do to cover these couches to make them look good and stay looking good? I currently have one piece covers and I think that's part of the problem. If I had a seperate cover for the couch AND one for the cushions it might not be too bad.
Please someone suggest an alternative! We cannot afford new furniture right now so for now I've got to come up with another way to make these couches last another year at least.
Oh, and inexpensive is important too. Funds are tight so I need to try and keep it under $200!
