Slinky Dog Dash Photo Pass

A group of us rode Slinky Dog Dash twice & we had Memory Maker & one of us was wearing an older 1 1/2 year old Magic Band this last trip. From what I understand Slinky Dog Dash will automatically add the ride Photo to your Memory Maker, but so far it has not shown up. We just got back yesterday. How long does it usually take to show up? Usually all the Magic Shots showed up by the end of the day so wasn't quite sure why this one was taking so long. I know I saw a camera flash on the ride. Will it not show up because we had an older Magic Band? I questioned the CM when activating the Pass if the Magic Band would work & she said it would. I had no problem scanning it coming into the Parks & with all the other Photo Pass pictures. We did have a strange experience with one of the Photo Pass Photographers named Steven when we were taking pictures in Pandora. We asked him if he had any Magic Shots & he said No even though we clearly saw him take a Magic Shot picture for the group ahead of us. It put a damper on the rest of the day & left a bad taste on the whole experience.

The slinky dog ride photo should automatically show up in your account. Did you get any of the other ride photos that also show up automatically? If you got those (like haunted mansion, pirates, frozen), then the magicband should have worked fine for ride photos.
With that said, we often have missing ride photos. And sometimes strangers pics show up in my account. We have APs with MM included. It screws up a lot, so we often tap our magicband on the photo monitor tapstiles when those are available if it's a pic we want. Of course, that doesn't help for slinky dog.
If your slinky photo doesn't show up in your acocunt over the next day or so, you can call or email disney photopass to see if they can locate it for you.

We have never gotten a ride photo from SDD. We almost always see the flash of the camera while riding but the photos just never show up! I waited and waited and then finally contacted Photopass after two different trips only to be told that they could not locate our picture despite multiple rides at different times during those trips.

Don't wait too long to contact photopass to find the photos. We were told they only keep them a few days and after that time period it's almost impossible to find.

I go solo and get alot more no's when I ask about magic shots over the past couple of trips even though one was just taken for the group in front of me - it's pretty obvious when one is being taken so I know I'm not mistaken.

So it's not just you with that issue.

This is one of the few rides where PhotoPass seems to be hit or miss.

If it helps, this is one of our least favorite ride pics. Daytime, nighttime, position in the car, etc - none of ours ever come out particularly download worthy (IMHO).

When I was there a couple of weeks ago my SDD photopass pics showed up pretty soon after I rode the ride. I have also had missing photos located using the contact the previous poster mentioned. Good luck!

Fill out the "missing photos" form from the photopass website. It helps if you know as close to the time you rode and a picture of you from the same day. Most of the time, they will be able to track down your photo.

Thanks for all the replies & the link to contact PhotoPass! Looking back at the Photos it looks like all the "automatic" Photos like from Pirates of the Caribbean & Haunted Mansion didn't show up & only those pictures that we scanned at the end of the ride did. I'm guessing it does have something to do with having an older magic band. PhotoPass was able to find the ToT photo since we were stuck between floors coming down for about 5 minutes. it was a little strange so by the time we were unloaded our photo had already come & gone. They gave us a FP for any ride except of course Slinky Dog & Smuggler's Run.
