Our Cub Scouts Den Leader is stepping down after 5 years as the boys are Webelos II crossing over to Boy Scouts and a week later she is moving to Washington DC. One of our moms suggested an add a bead bracelet as a going away gift from the boys (We're also giving her a personalized photobook of all the stuff they've done). I was able to find a sterling silver fleur de lis (looks like the symbol for Boy Scouts) bead on e-bay which they said would fit any of these types of bracelets but wanted to get some opinions on which bracelet is best as far as clasp, price, selection of beads and availability across the country. We're also going to get two glass beads to go on either side of the silver bead a blue one and a yellow one (Cub Scouts colors). I know nothing about them and the mother was suggesting getting a knock off, but I was thinking that with 8 kids in the den we might be able to afford a name brand. Any opinions/Advice?
I also posted this on the community board but since I'm on here the most thought I'd try my luck here as well and see if I can get a little more budget perspective....

Good luck with your choice!
I have some of their beads, some Pandora ones, and a few sterling silver ones from Goody Beads, and you really can't tell the difference with the sterling ones. The glass ones are more obvious. Pandora is probably the best known name, but you can add any type of bead on most bracelets.
I was outside at field day with my class when I noticed it gone, so it could have been anywhere on a huge grassy field. The Pandora ones lock on much better than the Chamilia. I can't get that one replaced b/c it just fell off, which I am still sad about. I had it for a month and off it fell, just like the gems.
