Slightly O/T but interesting

This is a sad example of people money grubbing. I feel for the young lady but this is in no way Disney's fault. Shame on this family what a perfect example of greed over sensible thought and reflection. This family should beheld accountable for any expense to Disney in defending this baseless lawsuit. Ther are clearly posted warnings and ride experience descriptions posted. I have been there and ridden this attraction many times and can account for the lengths Disney has gone to ensure safety.:sad2: :sad2: :sad2: :sad2:

i feel so bad for that poor girl and her family. i do think that disney could have offered the family some sort of compensation although i really hate how everybody sues everyone this day and age. if there wasnt a fault in the ride then i dont see how disney are to blame. clearly the girl had an undiagnosed heart problem and disney arent to blame for that.

hmmmmm i think that it wud be one of those 'hidden' conditions u hear about - and its just that it happened at disney - otherwise y arent 6 yr olds etc dying on it from fright????????????

it wud be good publicity for disney if it was said they had already given money - and obviously they wudnt want that to be known as it is trying to portray disney in a bad light!!!

i guess this family wud have sued anyone/anything regardless of where it happened - and it does happen (i know of a couple of ppl that it has happened to, and they werent so lucky as to live).....

sad - but no need to sue over it!

This was posted in the UK planning thread. Whilst I feel for the girl the story just does not add up.

It happened 3 years ago. The restraints would not prevent a heart attack which was mentioned in the other article. She had been on the ride several times without any problems.

I really can't see them winning this & also why sue for such a small amount:confused3

I don't think Disney should pay up, they were cleared at the time of the incident.

Like i said on the other thread, why sue 3 years later?

Good luck to them but they dont have a hope in hell of getting a dime of Disney as they was not in the wrong. They did not force her onto the ride that she rode numerous times etc.
