Slides to DVD/CD...know a place?

I'm looking for a place that transfers old family slides to DVD or CD's at the lowest cost. I found one place that charges .44 per slide. I know that's too high. Any suggestions?

I believe your best bet would be to check everywhere local. I would personally not trust sending them off by mail because if they got lost, those memories are gone forever.

Considered getting a scanner with a slide adapter and just doing it yourself? It's time consuming no doubt, but you get cheap labor
