Slide CLOSED at SAB first weeks in May

Bummer, I just got a letter in the mail stating that the Pirate slide at SAB will be closed for the length of our trip We check in May 5th

We arrive at the Beach Club May 8th and when I booked it (a couple weeks ago) they said the slide might be closed for part of the stay, but it would not affect the rest of the pool and you could use the pool over at the Boardwalk. Not sure if your letter said anything about the Boardwalk pool?

I admit I was bummed when I found out about the slide. Our kids really love it and 5/6 was our scheduled pool day. Now I'm reworking our itinerary to fix that, but of course when I called CRO to inquire about pool rehabs they have no information. I worry because the quiet pools at YC, BC, and BWI and BWV are all being worked on in April. (Why do these all at the same time???) It makes me nervous because they could easily fall behind schedule with those and then that will make SAB even more crowded. Shouldn't they space all these rehabs out more??
