What resort does a Sleigh Ride? My son has a large Service Dog will they allow him? I would love details as my son has developed a fascination lately with horses and thought this would be neat to do.

Thanks.

If they still do it it be wilderness lodges know they cancel the hollween one so not sure about the holiday one. And yes they should allow the dog if you want to do something cool that invokes horses. Go to fort wilderness they have the horse barn with the horse they use in mk. The cms love talking about them each have a name tag on te door. Their even I think close by a fences in dog park so if your dog needs to use te bath room or like to check it out. They have buses from the parking lot and their a connection from wilderness lodge to fort wilderness buses.

DITTO! As a Horse Person myself, I love to introduce kids to the wonders of equines. Also, I carriage drive and my dog (non-service, just a best friend) loves to ride with me, so maybe your dog will enjoy it as well!

Not sure if you went or not yet gone to Disney but wanted to let you know. They got two new young Clydesdales at fort wilderness I like how they look like mini ones soon their grow into big Clydesdales.
They are in their training program earning their ears and soon will be doing wagon rides at fort and port Orleans so this kinda also answer your question. Maybe they stopped it until they got younger ones so the other ones can enjoy their retirement.

Cool! I think I saw one training on the Ft. Wilderness roads last week. He was a bit skittish and started to spook at a bus. The wrangler, who was standing in the wagon watching him, jumped down to grab him, but the driver got him calmed down before the wrangler made it around front.

That cool well let hope they learn to work with the the bus or you my look in your review mirror and see them chasing you. Maybe they could have them walk around the bus to see their not bad.

We were at Fort Wilderness just a few days ago and I know they do carriage rides there. We saw one of them while eating at Trails End.

I would call the reservation number to find out about this. I know you can get the number from all ears. I think I called and asked and was told a maybe, when I got ressies last may. But I honestly can not remember the details in full. I think it may have been something like, yes on the wagons and a probably not on the carriages for a few reasons, they are small and we already have 5, some are more scared than others, horses I means, so it was a don't count on it. But we did so many new things last year and I just can not remember, so I would call and ask.
