Sleepless at Wilderness or Plan Shman 10/21 **PHOTOPASS Pics Flik!**

welcome back! I was wondering where you've gone. Glad that all of your moves went well. I'm looking forward to reading more about your trip!

YAY! Where was your second move too?

The second move was to back home. It was necessary for many different reasons. Nothing bad. Just felt like we were supposed to.

My parents and I made good progress again in the house projects. It wasn't a total loss that we moved out for a bit. My bedroom is painted!:cloud9::laughing: AND DH and I bought a new bed...

Things are still so disordered at the house though. It is a nightmare of STUFF! I'm so tempted to call for a dumpster and just start unloading the house into it.:rolleyes1 My home looks like a poorly laid out flea market booth. :sad2: And all I want to do is avoid all of it!! It's so overwhelming. I'm dreaming of planning another Disney trip, but I think we have finalized that the family trip in 2010 is definitely not going to happen. Not sure if we will try to go on our own though.

Meanwhile, I'm going to have fun finishing up this report. Hopefully that'll help me resist the urge to book Spring Break with the latest 4/3 deal.:upsidedow

Can't wait to hear. it. I had a feeling you would move back eventually. I know nothing of the situation, but moving in with family or anyone else for that matter can be nice for a bit, then it can become a bit of a pain. I had to live with my mom for about 6 months in between moves, and it was NOT fun. LOL! And actually a few (2) friends of mine have moved back into parents houses for financial reasons, and have gotten divorce while living there. It just doesn't always work like you hope.

It took far longer than it should have to deal with the whole Photopass CD thing. I've learned so much about myself this summer/school year (I know the school year just started but still...). As I try to get myself back into the TR groove, I thought I'd fill in the blanks and post some Photopass Pics.

This is Father's Day evening. PM EMH at MK. We had enjoyed a fabulous Father's Day breakfast at Boma, hung out in DTD, ate at WPE, played at Disney Quest, hurried to a leisurely dinner at Cali Grill, and now were thoroughly enjoying our first venture into a park this trip.

I really enjoy making use of the photographers at WDW. It's usually one of the only ways that I end up in any pics!

I had fun decorating these...

So DS saw these pictures and he said. "You never told me the castle changed color!":rolleyes:

This is the evening that we closed the park down. Leaving after 3 AM, and going to sleep around 4-ish.

Glad your back! Looking forward to "the rest of the story (TR)".

I used to LOVE hearing that guy on the radio! I can't remember his name. He isn't on the one station that I really listen to here, but in CO he would be on everyday during my commute.

Well. I don't want to think that I didn't give it my all to try to make it work...but I tell you what...living with a young couple, like 22 years old, made me feel SO OLD. Wow. Like old woman set her ways OLD. I never realized how set in certain ways I am, and also how intolerant I can be about certains things. I had pretty much determined that the whole thing was going to be such a learning experience for me when DS's school situation went downhill. That was like the last straw. It didn't help that the kittys were freaking out about the whole situation and weren't able to move down with us...

We did manage to have a bit of fun. They had an extra dorm like fridge, which we were able to put in our room (part of trying to keep certain necessary foods separate (like DS's lunch), so they would know what they could and couldn't eat from our stash). Our fridge was often stocked with a bit of libation that made us feel like we were seriously on vacation.

This is reather interesting going through my own TR, I have to say. It totallly reinforces my goal of making a scrapbook. I've had the goal since before scrapbooking became such a THING. I collected things for my scrapbook from elementary school on. I would finally throw things away when I couldn't remember what they were from anymore.

Anyhoo...

On this, the big morning after, we managed to get ourselves up and make it (albiet a TAD late) to our before the park opens ADR with Donald for breakfast. We were lookin' GOOD for our photopass pics this AM!

Still. I love these pictures. I love the virtually empty park behind us...

After our buffet breakfast, we were heading over to ride EE for the first time when we stopped for several character meet and greets along the way. By far the best character interaction I have ever watched was between DS and King Louie. They played a game of copy cat, mirror image, dance all around. I was absolutely thrilled that the photographer got it all and shot away... I was too busy watching to document the moment myself.

Definitely!

You know your TR really inspired me to make good use of the photopass photographers. Seriously. ::yes:: And I was really excited to see that the photographer had caught the action and didn't just wait around until we were posed for pics.

After King Louie and Baloo, DH was on the look out for characters. He spotted Flik in a picture perfect spot.

Check out all the pictures that the photographers will take! It's awesome! Especially if, like me, you are usually the one taking pictures. It's how you get INTO the pictures on your vacation!

There was no line at all for Flik. I think that most people are focused on the rides in the morning. It was fun to just wander along, see the characters, meet them, have some fun play with them, get their John Hancock and continue on with the day.

Reviewing these, it really makes me want to go back to WDW! Not gonna happen for a while though...

Hope ya'll are enjoying these pics...

I love pics of adults waiting for characters with their autograph books in hand. (I have a few of myself) We have that look of being a little kid again waiting to meet our heroes! Still loving your report.

Great photos!!!! You all do look like you are having so much fun :)

Glad to know you are slowly getting settled down to a routine again.

Hope you continue to post your trip! :thumbsup2
