Has anyone got/worn the sleeping beauty 2012 dress by Alfred Angelo. I think it looks gorgeous on a 6ft size zero model - would love to see some pics of normal size people in it. (p.s if you are 6ft and size zero - im just jealous!!!!)

I love that dress. I've been dreaming of a pink gown, that one's on my list to try on. :)

I've only been able to find one picture online, on wedding wire. It looked so much prettier than the model pictures. I'm new around here, so I don't know the rules about posting links to other forums- but search Google images with "Alfred Angelo sleeping beauty" and it'll come up.

I really hope someone on here posts pictures, too! This is such a pretty one. :cheer2:

Edit- I totally forgot there are two of them. I hope you were talking about the pink one or my post is irrelevant. Oops! They're both very pretty though.

sorry for delay in response - internet was down

yeah, it is the pink one I was talking about.
I looked up that photo! it does look so lovely even on a real person :lmao:
I wonder what flowers would go with a pink dress and what bridesmaid colours would you use????

I was thinking of white flowers and Ivory or Champagne bridesmaid dresses. I guess it depends on your wedding colors though- I think a light blue or a lavender would go lovely with pink too. :thumbsup2

I have no idea what colours I want to be honest, I will probably work around the venue and dress!
I just found photos of Reese Witherspoons wedding she had a pink dress and cream roses they looked lovely together.

Im glad im not the only one who loves this dress!

Nope, I love it too! It's so hard to find a pink dress, and I'm just too non-traditional to wear white.

There are also a couple of pink Vera Wang dresses at David's Bridal. Not nearly as gorgeous as this one, but I'm keeping those under consideration if the Sleeping Beauty dress doesn't do it for me.

aw you will have to let me know how you get on.... im still a little far out to try dresses on but I cant wait. Im not very traditional either I wanted to wear a printed dress but DFi vito'd printed dresses.

Oh, I'm still a while away too. I'm not planning on trying anything on until August! I'm doing my research right now because I want to try to find as many pink dresses as I can, to hopefully find one that works. It's so hard to find any though! It's always white, ivory, or silver.

Printed, eh? That makes me think of this dress.

It's printed AND pink! And still very bridal, imo. Don't give up on what you want, there's always a way to compromise! :)

Hey there! I'm trying to figure out how to post pictures on here...I tried on the Sleeping Beauty dress because Sleeping Beauty is my favorite princess. I honestly had no intention of getting it because it's a little too modern for me, but when I put it on I LOVED it. As a somewhat bigger girl (size 16/18 ) with large "assets", it fit me in all the right places. And helped hide my pooch! I didn't end up buying it, but was really very impressed with it. I'll try to figure out posting pictures so you can get an idea :)

Oh Annabelle I would love to see a pic!:cheer2:
Im quite curvy so thats what I was worried about too. I tend to look huge in dreses because my booty and bust are a little bigger than other peoples.
I think you have to save the pic to a webased picture storage thingy like photobucket and paste the URL from there - its been ages since I have posted my own photos! im sure DFTWbride2013 would love to see it too! :flower3:

I would LOVE to see it! I'm a bigger, curvy girl too so I've been dying to see it on someone not teeny tiny. I'm worried my big hips will look even bigger in it. It looks like a "skinny girl" dress to me so I'm glad to hear you say you liked it so much!
