Does anyone know if there is a plug near the bed to plug husband machine into at night??? would hate to have to run a cord from the desk area over every night???
thanks
Karen

I asked this same question I believe last week. I was told that yes there are plug ins next to the bed and that they will provide distilled water for your machines.

They will give you distilled water....is this the same on the Magic I wonder?

Thought we would have to stop somewhere and pick some up since we can't fly with water.

We were on the Magic in January and my husband also has a sleep machine. I e-mailed DCL.special.request.medical@disney.com a couple weeks before our sail date with our room number and the date of our sailing and asked for distilled water. It was waiting in our room when we got there!

Have a great cruise!

What a wonderful question...we are sailing in May on Magic. I was already wondering where we will get water for my DH machine, since we are getting intp Port Canaveral really late the night before.

Meredith a question for you....how much they charged for the water...?

WebmasterCorey has posted some great photos of the Dream. Here's a shot of the bed in a Deluxe Inside Stateroom.

Look under the clock- I see a plug right there that should be perfect for your CPAP machine!

And if you and your DH are really specific about which side you sleep on, it looks like there's maybe another outlet behind the phone on the other side.

Thank you so much for this information. I am going to request the water for my DH's sleep machine.

This is great news. We had to use an extension cord on the Wonder for my husband's machine.

Though, I'm curious....why does everyone need distilled water? The machine that my husband uses doesn't require water.

My husband's machine had a build in humidifier, it is a full mask thing.

I will have to call tomorrow and see it I can get some water too , we are on the Magic Jan 29th.

Will I need an extension cord for the Magic? Isn't there a plug where the lights are sitting on the table?

Yes I was told to bring a ext cord...my hubby also uses Cpap and we are sailing on the Magic...doesnt hurt to pack one...

I've sailed on the Wonder twice and brought an extension cord for my CPAP both times - we had to plug it in by the desk, then ran it under the bed the last time (I'm always on the right side and our stateroom desk was on the left side of the bed). We unplugged it during the day and threw it under the bed so we wouldn't trip, but it's a short distance that it goes across the floor during the night and the kids didn't have any trouble.

Nice to know about the distilled water - I use it at home, but just go with tap on vacation usually, unless we are staying in a villa and do grocery shopping. I'll request the distilled on our February 20th MR! Thanks!

Also good to know the the Dream has plugins on the headboard - yea! Maybe someday....

I brought an extension cord with me, but left it at the pre-cruise resort.

I had to get one from guest services - $50 deposit for a $3.00 extension cord!

Worst was waiting in line on the last morning to return it.

Thanks for this information. Got it highlighted on my list to take.

We did call today and the lady on the phone assured us that the water will be waiting for us on Saturday. Thought we would have to do a stop before the ship. It would be pretty heavy to carry around before we got in our room too, now we don't. This is why I love the Dis!

We didn't need to get a doctor's signature or even fill out a form. Just shoot an e-mail to the e-mail address stating you need the distilled water for a sleep machine, give them your sail date and room number, and you will be all set to go! :-)
