Skyliner question

We are staying at Pop next week and looking forward to using the Skyliner on occasion. We rent a car and usually drive to the parks. If we take the Skyliner to DHS do we have to get off and back on at CBR? If going to EOCOT do we have to get off/on at CBR and again at Riviera? Also, how reliable has the Skyliner been lately as far as delays/stoppages? Is the wait long?

There is a whole thread on the Skyliner on the Disney news forum.... that would be a good place to get current reliability info. But yes, you will have to get off/ change lines at CBR to get to either Epcot or Hollywood Studios. But you won’t get off at Riviera, your gondola will enter the station & the door will open, but you just stay put.

We’re at pop now & absolutely love the skyliner, it’s so cool and super quick...just minutes to the parks.
It has always been a walk on for us, never more than 1 family in front of us, but we have not used it at park closing.
We have not experienced any stops in the air, but the HS line was down for a period of several hours on our HS day & we had to take the bus back to the park in the afternoon ( which was a slight bummer since we walked to the skyliner station & then had to walk back to the front for the buses). But it was back up & running when we left the park that evening.
The Epcot line was down for a period of time yesterday as well.
Overall, we’ve found it much more efficient & enjoyable than the buses.
