Skyline Drive vs Blue Ridge Parkway

I have traveled the Blue Ridge Parkway. In about a week and a half I'll be traveling south on the Skyline Drive. Someone on here said Skyline looks different from the Blue Ridge Parkway. In what way??

We are spending the night at the Big Meadows Lodge as we drive home from DC. Just thought it would be fun to see something different.

Skyline Drive is much less picturesque. Our decision, after driving both, is that someday, when we have extra time again, we'll take the Blue Ridge Parkway again, but we wouldn't take Skyline Drive -- we'd just take the Interstate instead.

Are you sure you are referring to Skyline Drive in Virginia's Shenandoah Valley. The reviews on TripAdvisor are very positive about scenery, wildlife, etc.

Yes, positive, and what I'm talking about is a direct comparison between the Blue Ridge Parkway and Skyline Drive. It is really a testament, mostly, to just how great the Blue Ride Parkway is by comparison.
