Skylanders Giants...?

Does anyone know the best place to pre-order the portal owners pack? I'm looking for the best deal around.. either includes something, or cheaper than another place... So many deals, but I don't know which is best so far

Gamestop was offering a 3pk of giant figures with the preorder. That's were I am getting mine from. ToysRus wasn't offering anything.

You can pre-order with or without the figures. (advertised as with or without the portal). With the portal is a better deal since it is only $15 more and you'll have an extra portal.

It's not a sale price though. I'm hoping for a black friday deal. I bought the regular game at Target last year sometime in Nov. for $20 off. Hoping for a similar sale.

Toys R Us is offering pre-ordering with free shipping and free Trigger Happy figurine, that's where I ordered mine.

I'm hoping for a Black Friday deal too... I know Best Buy did an exclusive deal last year and I'm hoping they do something similar this year too.

Last November, prior to Black Friday, Target did a buy any 2 games, get the 3rd free. This was the best discount, if you could find 3 similar priced games free. I was able to use with Skylanders & save about $70, since I was buying 2 others anyway. It was better for me than Black Friday deals. I hope Skylanders Giants are more available after we buy the game than Skylanders figures were. I don't think we found any until Easter!

we also did our on black friday last year, but i know game stop and my toys r us guaranteed a giant if you pre order there :/ I think I am thinking about this too much!

I did something similar to another poster- toys r us had a buy one video game get one 40% off last year when I was buying the original skylanders, so that's how I got a discount

Ended up preordering the set that came with the game only and one giant for 59.99 and the limited edition golden dragonfire cannon battle pack for 25.

No great deal, but I'd much rather have it than be searching madly for it at Christmas time. If I see a much better deal I can always take it back.
