Skyauction and Resort Vacation Certificate

I have a question about Sky Auction and the Resort Vacation Certificates. If there is a "Buy It Now" and it lists a specific property, but then at the bottom it lists it as a Resort Vacation Certificate. When you click on the link to see if there is availability for your date it says that the Resort Vacation Certificate can be used at any of the resorts that appear in orange. So do you have to use the certificate at the specific property listed in the Buy It Now listing on Skyauction or can you use it at any of the resorts listed on the Resort Vacation Certificate page?

The certificate can be used at any of the resorts on the Resort Vacation page; the sky auctions are separate from the certificate. Sometimes, specific resorts or dates have an upcharge, but it is really obvious. If you subscribe to the Sky Auction newsletter, they send discount prices for the certificates every once in a while that are good for the base price. I used one of these to stay at Summer Bay a couple of years ago, in addition to two others in different areas.

ETA: What I said is true if you buy the certificate outright. I'm not sure if it is listed in the context of an auction. Sorry for not being more clear. They can be a great deal though!

I used a certificate I won at a different resort than the one listed. The listed resort was Orbit One, I used it for wyndham cypress palms. Check for the dates you need and availability. Also check for what time frame you may use the certificate.

Yes, this was the one I was looking at. The listing says Orbit One, but then when you read further down and click on the availability link, it lists a whole lot of different resorts. I wasn't sure if one was limited to the resort listed on the auction title (actually its a Buy It Now) or if you could use it for any of the resorts it shows as available.

And, that "buy it now" for orbit one is one of the lowest priced ones. Like you I wasn't sure at first, but I've also stayed at Orbit One so if I had to go there, no problem.
