Hi Everyone :D ,

I've been keeping an eye on Sky Auctions and haven't found any Resorts available lately for the last 3 weeks in December. I was seeing a lot of them a month ago but didn't jump on them as they seemed plentiful. Well, now I'm concerned :p !! LOL! did I wait to long to try and catch a Ready, Set, Go? I was really hoping to get a very nice 2 bed condo at least for Christmas week so we could spread out and maybe even have a Christmas tree.

Thanks for your thoughts!

I would think it might be next to impossible to get a RSG for Chirstmas Week and the week after as that is the busiest time of the year in Orlando. Something might pop us at the last minute; depends on how long you would be comfortable waiting.

Hi Beezle2:D

Okay, here's what we did...several weeks ago we won a RSG auction for the 2nd week in Dec. (we are planning to be there the week prior to Christmas and the week of) at OLCC. I checked regularly to see if an RSG came up for Christmas week and hadn't seen a thing. My plan was to book a cancellable reservation somewhere and hope something came up on Sky Auction or if not, try Priceline. A couple of weeks ago, I noticed that the auctions for 2bdrm. suites in Orlando were including Christmas week...It meant we had to bid more than we were hoping to, but we did it anyway and won an auction.

Now we have 2 weeks at OLCC...and though we paid more for the second week, the average cost per night is only $48, which I think is terrific for a 2 bdrm suite at that time of year!

Good luck--hope you get what you want! :D

Thats where I'm hoping to stay!! It looks so nice, and since we are going for 3 weeks we would be so happy to have the space. Congrats on getting a stay there :D I notice your from MI too! I agree that $48 per is an awesome price and is just about what I'm hoping to pay. I'll just keep haunting the site, lol!
