a discount code - so you don't have to pay the entire amount of your bid.

right now it would be the code for a $100 off on your next bid - in the home away auction.

before it would the code you received for referring friends & family to skyauction.

I know that last August a code was emailed to skyauction subscribers for $50off any auction . The code had to be used during August 2006. I was able to apply it along with a $100 home and away auction travel certificate to an auction!!! The code could only be used once be skyauction user.

Hopefully something similar will appear this August.

How can you apply the home away from home 100.00, I don't have a certificate, and I also don't know a code for refering friends or familys?

First you must win a home and away auction. You will then receive a code (that is attached to your skyauction ID and can't be transferred) that you can use towards any future auction.

Before paying an invoice you either call them or email them and quote your skyauction user id and $100 home and away code. It may take a couple of days but they will apply this against your account. You then go ahead and pay the invoice with the adjusted amount.

Go to your account on skyauction and look under the refer a friend option. For each friend you refer (who actually joins, you earn $5 that you can put towards your next auction invoice). Max $50 per invoice. I used this last year, but unfortunately, I have run out of people to refer. But it made for cheap invoices ($100 home and away certificate plus $50 refer a friend skycash)!!!!!

Inventory looks weaker this year then last though on both ready set go and Home and away (getaway weeks). I have read that inventory is best about 2 months up until to the week before travel time, but due to having to book air, holidays at work etc., I always book several months ahead.

so are you saying that I can bid on the home away from home, and win it, then use the 100.00 certifcate that comes with the auction to take 100.00 off that auction?, sorry I am a bit confused

Sorry if I wasn't clear, but you can not use the first $100 for the initial home and away auction. You won't be given the $100 travel certificate code until after you have paid for the auction. As well you will not receive the travel certificate # (that you must have when you call getaway weeks) until after you have paid for the auction.

Example:
win a home and away auction $50
fees $195
admin processing cost $20
total for that auction : $265

That gives you a one week vacation from www.getawayweeks.com PLUS $100 travel certificate for a future auction. Keep in mind that both the one week vacation as well as the $100 travel certificate must be used within a certian amount of months (dates listed on the home and away auction).
