Skoosh.com- Hotel Bookings? HELP ME.

Hi. Has anyone booked through that web site? I went on that web to look up a night at Great Wolf Lodge. I found a great price but to be able to trust booking online. I have never done it before.. HELP.

We used skoosh last summer. There cancellation policy was great, and quick. we ended up cancelling the reservation but I never had any problems with them at all.

Coincidentally my friend just left yesterday for GWL and booked thru Skoosh. No problems.
I'm looking for myself as well (would like to go end of April with the kids as they are off school, but hubby is busy at work, so I need to find someone to go with me..... wouldn't be fun alone........ but everyone else's kids are in school..boohoo!) and I found a code WATERSKI that will give you an additional 5% off!

So I hope this info reaches you before you book!

How are these travel companies able to offer such exceptional rates ?
Can someone explain how they work. Sometimes they can offer rates which are hundreds of dollars less than the Great Wolf web site.

About to book through Skoosh... Anyone know how they get such awsome rates? NOBODY can beat the deal I just got for the Clarion Universal.... 44 per night. I even have a special discount code that most can't beat and was surprised when they beat that rate by 25 dollars LOL

I have not booked through Skoosh but through a similar agency. It was offered via Booking Buddy so I felt comfortable w/ that.

I had the same questions about the awesome rates and checked out the threads on "Orlando Hotels". Basically the travel companies book in such volume that they can offer "loss leaders" such as these rates. They're getting an industry and also group discount by booking thousands of rooms at rates that they then pass on to their customers.

It is definitely helpful to read of others using agencies such as Dreams Unlimited (DIS boards sponsor.) Personal accounts always relieve my anxiety. HTH.
