Has anyone had this dessert here? Is it very good? Also, I'm just curious-years ago, there was talk of a "Kungaloosh" at the former Adventurer's Club. Is this it or just somehow similar?

Have no idea about Adventurer's Club, but I have had the Kungaloosh at Skipper's and it is AMAZING!!!

The kungaloosh at the Adventurers Club was a fruity alcoholic drink. No similarity at all to the dessert at Skipper Canteen aside from the name.

Kungaloosh was also the greeting you received when you walked into the Adventurer's Club.

While the Skipper's Canteen dessert is tasty, it bears no relation whatsoever to the signature drink of the Adventurer's club (which, IIRC, was basically rum and and fruit juice.

I've had the dessert. It was just okay. It is a chocolate cake, scoop of ice cream, and a hunk of raw banana with some fire-torched sugar on one side. If they had cooked down the bananas in a caramel sauce like a banana foster, or added banana into the cake or something more than just those three distinct things that might have been more interesting but I was left a bit puzzled by it to be honest..

Interesting. When I had it, the banana was definitely not raw and the cake was so moist and fudgy. Sounds like a completely different dessert.
