Skip front desk and go directly to parks

I just got an email from Disney that I can confirm my check in online and skip the front desk and go directly to parks from the airport. Do u think this could mean I can go directly to my lunch ADR at a resort other than my check in resort from the airport itself ?

If you mean in a cab, or similar, then, yes.
If you mean on DME, then, no.

For about $65, you can take a cab from the airport to the ADR resort.
("Alternative" cab service may be cheaper.)

Would I do that?
Well, no... but it is an option if time is short.

(You can still take DME back to the airport at the end of your trip.)

I dont understand the rationale behind why i cant take the DME to the other resort directly from the aiport if i have completed my check in already. Because essantially all i will be doing is transfering to another bus at my resort to go to the other resort.

You are still greeted at the bus by a cm even though you don't have to check in. The cm will ask if you have gotten your text or email about your room and make sure you don't need anything. Besides won't you have a Cary on bag you will want to leave with bell services

There aren't buses that go from one resort to another. You would have to transfer at a park.

No carry on expect our back packs and yes i will stop at my resort go to park and go to the ADR resort while i could have ( if allowed ) just taken DME directly to the resort i wanted to go to for lunch from the airport

1. Because Disney's policy for Mears/DME specifies that it will only transport guests to the resort where they will be staying.

2. There are no direct resort to resort buses. You will need to take a bus to a park or Disney Springs and transfer. Or you can take a taxi.

I am sorry didnt mean to cause a debate was just asking if this by any way could mean that i can now take DME directly from airport to the ADR resort or not. I am ok with the current set up as well i have allowed plenty of travel time so should not be a problem

I get what the OP is asking. doesn't seem that complicated. if she can skip the front desk.. had used online checkin... and only has her back packs etc, with her. let's say she is staying at COronado springs. but has a lunch ADR at Captain's Grille at Yacht CLub. since there are not "assigned" Magical Express buses on arrival (like there are for departure) and her luggage is being transported to Coronado. what difference does it make if they take the Yacht club bus instead of the Coronado bus? none. it's not like they will be taking someone elses seat. planes get delayed. people eat lunch at the airport or shop. some even arrive a day early and stay at the airport hotel and take the ME the next morning.
then, of course, they know there is no resort to resort transportation.. so they will have to boat or walk to DHS after lunch and take the coronado bus from there. or take a cab. If disney doesn't allow this, I don't see why not.
as long as there is no carryon luggage (disneydoesn't allow luggage on the park/resort buses) OP, I would just ask at ME at the airport. "excuse me kind sir, we are staying at......... but would like to go to ........ for lunch . we have no luggage with us. is that a problem? and if so, why?"

Good suggestion ! I might just ask, if they let me ride the other bus then great if not then its still ok
