SKECHERS 50% off Friends and family CODES!

I placed an order yesterday and another today I haven't heard that either was canceled. Do they email you?

From what I could tell they haven't sent out emails "yet?", I think people were just going online and check their orders.

Like I said I saw this on another "deals" board, not sure if I can name it or not.

Just checked my order and it still says processing...I only ordered two pair though.

I was flipping out because I got an email saying my order was canceled by my credit card! Obviously that wasn't the real reason...

We were unable to charge your credit card at the time of delivery due to insufficient funds, a closed account or another bank reason. The best bet is to call your credit card company to understand why they declined your payment. Typically, the credit card company does not disclose this information with us.

We'd like to offer you 15% in savings to replace your order because we
still want you to get your SKECHERS.

i got the same things as laurabelle. grrr, that's pretty nasty of them to write false emails about a credit card decline instead of telling the truth. and then to offer only 15% instead.

let's all write them and see if they'll honor it.

ETA, emailed them about lying and saying that credit cards declined instead of ebing honest and saying that they made a mistake with a code. i instantly got a canned message back that said

"***Important Notice RE: SKECHERS Friends and Family Discount. If your order has been cancelled it did not qualify for our special Friends and Family Discount which is for SKECHERS employees only. For more information on our online Discount policies visit www.skechers.com/faq

hey, i think they need to take this up with their employees, not the consumer who is just trying to spend money.

I'm glad I saw your post before I found my cancellation email. I'd have been flipping out too! :scared: Mine says the same thing. And since Skechers used the "credit card company" as the reason, I'd have been on the phone with that bank demanding to know WTH was going on!! :rotfl2:

I woke up this morning to the very same email!! I'm ticked and will be letting skechers know. IMO, that's a fraudulent email blaming the banks when it's their own decision. It's not so much about the shoes, as the email being a total lie. Although, I'm ticked about the shoes too. LOL

omg I just got the same email and freaked calling my bank thinking something really bad happened to my account. I will be on the phone with them ASAP.

That is just so :scared1: that they would blame your cc and not trying to come clean and admitting it was an error on their part and still offer the 15% off coupon. I bet sketchers can be held reliable for false email being sent to their customers, just very bad business . :sad2:

Yeesh at least tell us the the REAL reason in the email. I called my bank all pissed off, I was polite though, and then in dawned on me why it might be cancelled and yep I was right. Funny that they gave a 15% discount when they are having a 40% sale right on the site (for certain items, my shoes qualify, DH's do not).

ETA:
I emailed them saying I was willing to reorder if I could get the 40% discount applied to DH's shoes as well, given the untruthfullness of the email.

My email to Skechers:

I found out that the reason that YOU canceled my order was not because of a problem with my credit, but because you decided to pull the sale and were dishonest about the reason. Out of curiosity I found the shoes I ordered were on sale for 40% off, but when I clicked on them a message said they were unavailable. Your company's dishonesty has really put me off. I won't be buying shoes from you.

I had Zappos pricematch the other day and I already have my shoes. :thumbsup2 I always use Zappos because they are a reputable company and willing to provide great customer service. The kids are set thru the summer!

:thumbsup2 I also sent an email through the Contact Us link from the cancellation email, but it doesn't show up in my "sent" folder so I'm wondering if it will make it to its destination. Do you have the email address handy?

I just fired off an email to them using the orderinfo@skechers.com link that was at the end of the one they sent me. I'm considering calling the CS number but I'm at work and will need to do it later.

I'm not even bothering with an email. I am calling ASAP I think they open at 8am pacific time I think thats 11 am eastern time.

Interesting... I haven't received any emails (I actually placed 2 separate orders). But when I checked the order status, the status field is now blank on both orders. They'd better be notifying me soon.

I can't wait to call them either, 8:00 pst will come very slowly:hourglass. I received the same e-mail about my account, but I checked with the bank and they have taken out the funds, each pair of shoes was listed as a separate transaction. Has anyone else had this happen?

I just checked my bank account online and it shows as pending....if it goes through, oh boy will there be you know what to pay by skechers.

My account also shows the order as "Pending". Plus when I called my bank this morning (before I looked here) I was told that the charges had gone through. That has me more upset than them cancelling the order. I fired off an email letting them know that my bank said they didn't decline and the charges had gone through and asked when will I be getting my shoes or when will I be receiving a credit for the charges. Still haven't heard anything. Trust me if those charges do go through, I'll be right there with you.

Hmm you know what that's what my CC company said as well. In fact they tried to put it through THREE times. I think I will be calling as well.
