Size of studios at OKW & BWV??

Does anyone know the sizes of the studios? Are they bigger in sq. ft? The reason I ask is the pictures on the website makes the OKW studio look bigger, a lot bigger than the BWV studio. Just curious on the sq. footage - we own at OKW, but have an opportunity for one at BWV & have never stayed there. Comments appreciated!

I have never stayed at OKW our home resort is the BWV. However due to spending way to much time on this board I can tell you will relative confidance that OKW's studios are consideredly larger. That being said I have stayed in a studio with my boys 9 and 11 and have found the studios at the BWV's to be very comfortable for 3. When my DH comes along we book a 1 or 2 bedroom.

According to the Disney paperwork I received, OKW is 397 sq ft and BWV/VWL are 356 sq ft. The layout at BWV and VWL, with the hide-a-bed, gives you more usable space when the bed is closed. And you get the feel of a larger room. OKW is our home, but when it's just my DW and I, we like the BWV/VWL layout better. The sofa sure beats sitting on the bed or in a hard chair. When the whole gang goes, we love the extra space at OKW's 2 BR.

I can tell you with absolute confidence- having stayed in both on the same visit-that OKW studios are NOT considerably larger. They are measurably larger with a measuring tape, but I agree that the BWV studio feels as large if not larger because the OKW shape is odd and the two queen beds take up more space than a queen and a sofa. The bathroom at OKW is larger. Our home is BWV and I would never stay in an OKW studio again unless I had to.

If you have the experience to try the studio at BWV, I'd grab it. We've stayed in both, and I feel that the OKW feels slightly larger. However, I wouldn't think of basing a reservation based on square footage. I think that it's great to try other DVC resorts.........
