i was under the impression that the pull out bed at poly was big enough for an adult. Now I'm told it is just suitable for a child. (Same as riverside)Does anyone know the measurements of it when it is pulled down?

Ok then. The pull out sofa is a queen. In your original post you mentioned the size when it's pulled down I thought you were asking about the pull down Murphy beds in the new DVC studios.
OK, I'm confused. Are you talking about the daybed in the regular Poly rooms or the beds in the DVC studios?
The daybed in the regular rooms , IIRC, is simply the size that it is when used as a couch, without cushions as the back. Perhaps this has changed? My last stay at the Poly was a few years ago now. And we didn't use the daybed as a bed, we had 2 rooms at that time.
Many years ago, my daughter slept on the Poly daybed as a teenager and was comfortable enough. I'm not sure how good it would be for larger/taller people.
I slept (5'4") on the daybed at BC. I believe the daybed at poly is the same size. An average size person would fit. There isn't much room to move around though, like a single bed. If you are talking about the DVC studios, the pullout sofa is a queen.
I only have experience with the day bed in the regular rooms (not DVC), and yes, it is just the sofa without the cushions; nothing pulls out. My son was only in kindergarten at the time we used it, so it was suitable for him. An average-sized adult could certainly use it, but it would not be very spacious. I guess it depends on the person and how large/picky they are!
