Are all of the little refrigerators in the rooms the same sizes? How much will they hold? Someone passed along ordering a pitcher of lemonade a day from room service (FREE) daily.

Generally, people think of the in-room units more as electric coolers than full-fledged refrigerators. The units do keep things cold although they may take a bit longer to cool down items. We always take a 6 pack of Coca-Cola with us to keep in our room and it's cold by the first evening.

As far as space, a pitcher would fit inside of the unit easily. Just guessing, I'd say the units are, maybe, 2 ft tall by 1.5 ft wide by 1 foot deep.

We were keeping a pitcher of ice water, 4-5 single-serving sized milks and chocolate milks and several glasses of juices from morning room service. There was space left to chill some cheese, apples and grapes, too!

My measurements may not be 100% accurate but those given by passporter seem a bit small to me...

Oh well. Perhaps I'll take a ruler next time to make sure I'm not toatally out of my mind!

Hey Jason~ I don't think your measurements are that far off, at least not far off of the beverage cooler in our cabin, it was just under the desk height, which I think was about 25-30" or so...

It's not huge, but it will fit water and snacks etc.

Jeanny--

That was kind of what I was going by as well. 16.5 inches high just seems very small to me! I mean, a Coke 2 liter bottle is just over 12 inches high!

I have read that lemonade is no longer free from room service. You may want to check this before you order it - I'm not one for surprises that cost me money!

I had read in one of the "tips" messages to order a pitcher of lemonade a day from room service, which sounded great! Then I read where it wasn't "free". I'm wondering if after the first tip was posted, the DCL got a thousand requests on board for pitchers of lemonade!!?? It's not funny, but I can't help but smile. It just goes to show that people really take these tips to heart. I know I do!!!!
And yes, I will definitely check the current "free" things on our 10/2/04 cruise. Of course, like someone above me said, it isn't really free, it's all in the prive of the cruise.
ALTHOUGH...my 2 teenage daughters might could eat them out of house and home through room service!!!!!
