How big or small does your carry on need to be? I've looked at the Disney Cruise site and can't find anything. How much can you carry on? Is it like the plane with one carry on and one personal item?
Thanks,
Kerianne

your carry on has to be the same size as what the airlines allow...I would think one bag and one personal item...
as to how much you can carry on, other than if you're a packmule ... how how much you can cram into that one bag and will it still fit in the overhead compartment or under your seat??

You didn't mention if you were flying or driving.
If flying directly in...then go by the airline rules.
If flying in early...whatever you can carry onboard is fine. We usually have drinks with us too.
If driving...then it would be whatever your packmule can handle or fit would in the stateroom. I just don't think DCL would have any room for the packmule. (No BD, I am not talking about my DH)

That's not completely correct; There is no limit as to how many items you bring aboard, but they do have to fit thru the scanner, there are no excpetions to this anymore since they moved the scanner to the entry to the port building. Anything that can't get thru the scanner will have to be sent onboard with your big luggage. So, the above dimensions are correct.

Also nothing with ice either; they will make you dump it out. But don't worry your stateroom host will provide as much ice as you want up to 3 times a day.

You are allowed one carryon per person, other than a woman's purse and two checked bags per person.

Carry on size is 14 x 9 x 22.

Don't carry too much on, a pain to lug around.

Thanks for listing the dimensions. We are flying, but the airline says a combined linear measurement of 51 inches. I'm just trying to buy a new carry on bag for our cruise in December and I don't know what to buy. It looks like I should buy a bag 9x14x22. I just have medical supplies that take up some room and I want to make sure I can get everything on.
Thank you,
Kerianne

Lands End and LL Bean all note if a particular luggage item is a "carry on" item. Check out their Websites.
