Size issues on US Rides?

I am a BIG girl, I am 5'1 and 230 pounds, the majority of my weight is in my belly HOWEVER I have never been turned away from a ride and I have done them ALL both in universal and Disney.

As far as how to ask the question, I would say just flat out ASK....... I do and I feel better bringing it to there attention then wondering IF they were paying attention and thinking I am going to fall out the whole time I am riding ;)

The last person is not so big. 230, that is big no. Ok, ladies. I am a woman. I am 6' tall, and around 270 lbs. Ok, now. You all know that is pretty hefty. Well, i fit on everything. In Universal not to tight at all. I am big chested so on the hulk it just pressed my breast down. But not to tight, like cinching. Nothing was cinching. As, I remember. So, dont worry. You will probably fit. Have fun!!

No, it will be an issue...I wear all mine on my butt!! That's an issue when you can't fit in the seats on the rides.

Ladies, its all about how you feel about yourself. Embrace your curves :thumbsup2 And, yes in society anything over a stick figure is big. But, its not in my world I am me. Big, and beautiful, and if anyone doesnt like it oh well. To me, being 270. I am very pleasantly plump. When someone says they are 230 and big. I dont really think so. Maybe a little thick but not big. I happen to wish I had a booty. I wasnt blessed with that. But, I am sure you will fit nonetheless. Have a great time!!!

I'm a size 14-16 and I fit in Dueling Dragons, Spider Man, etc.

My mom went to US with us about ten years ago and she weighed 120 lbs more than she does now. (She's about my size now) and she rode ET w/o a problem (though she was nervous about it) Hulk is one that a lot of people seem to have an issue with, IMO.

Re: Turnstiles

Ask a CM to open the gate for you. Once you scan your ticket, you can walk right through the middle part. It's how wheelchairs, strollers, etc. get in. People do it all the time.

LMAO!

I always do this on the upside down rides! You see, I'm curvy and have larger hips and thighs and a smaller waist, plus I have a decent amount of muscle on me since I work at a gym part time; in short I weigh more than I look. At the Dr. it takes me like ten minutes to get weighed cause they start at way under what I really am. So, I always think that the workers are going to underestimate what I weigh and I'm going to be over the limit when they think I"m ok and when I flip and the bars hold me in, I"m going to overtax them and plop right out, big hips first, onto the ground. It hasn't happened yet, but I still worry everytime!

I saw a picture of MIB...boy!!! do those seats look VERY NARROW!!! Does anyone have any info on this??? :confused3

We just returned from our first visit to Universal. I am 5'2 and weigh 225lbs. I consider myself Fiona in her ogre stage size.

We did not go on the coasters, due to DH being a wimp. I rode everything but Hulk, Dragons, Dr. Doom, and Mummy. I did not have any trouble. Sometimes you have to walk sideways into the ride. My crew always made me go in first (like on MIB) and then I have to scoot all the way over. If you're big, be the last one in your row to load, this is less of a walk for you to "squeeze" onto the ride.

What type of a belt or restraint do they have to keep you seated in MIB? Also, is the seat so narrow that it can be a concern of not fitting????

On MIB there were lap bars. I think everyone has their own. There are 3 seats in the front and 3 in the back to one car. This is an inside ride the car just rides through for the ride. Therer is some mild spinning but I can't believe there would be any way for someone to fall out or get hurt on this ride. Really this is a good ride for the whole family from 4years to 74years.

On MIB there were individual seats but my big butt fit with no problem. (I wear a size 22 pants, if that helps.) If it doesn't then let's say I wear a size 10. :rotfl2:

It might be a tight fit if there are 3 large adults in one row.
