I can get there in one step! I just last week was in meetings with a Marine officer who was an extra in the movie "A Few Good Men" and was on set for a month. He had some really nice things to say about his time with Kevin Bacon and Jack Nicholson, as opposed to what he had to say about his time with the other "star" of that movie.

My dad's cousin *I think* (pretty sure--hasn't been confirmed) wrote a song that's in the movie Girls Just Wanna Have Fun with Sarah Jessica Parker who is in Footloose with Kevin Bacon.

Wade Boggs did a guest appearance on Cheers, which co-starred Kelsey Grammer as Frasier Crane
The character Frasier Crane (and Kelsey Grammer) had his own show, Frasier where one of the chracters was a dog named Eddie, played by Hollywood dog, Moose
Moose was in My Dog Skip, also starring kevin Bacon

Oooh, if we were keeping score I'd give you extra points for working in a canine!

I can do this a longer way, but this is my most recent set of connections. Plus, it allows me to celebrate the good news of a future addition to my extended family!

1) My future SIL (engaged two months, getting married in June) worked on the set of Fargo (1996) with William H. Macy (whom she loved).
2) Macy and Bacon were both in Murder in the First (1995), a film which is soooo inferior to Fargo.

Tom Cruise-- was in Taps as well. So my DH can tell you storeis about George C Scott, Tom Cruise, Timothy Hutton and Sean Penn.

He said it was more Timmy Hutton that was a PITA to the cadets at VFMA, where Taps was filmed. All I can say about this, is don't get a whole military academy of cadets angry by insulting them.. they will turn on you...

I went to college with a guy that went to high school (senior year only) with Tom Cruise. Tom was in a Few Good Men with Kevin. How strange? I hadn't thought about him for years.

I can't even believe I have just come up wiht a connection. My aunt Barb used to date Stephen Collins many years ago, who was in Jumpin' Jack Flash with Whoopi, who was in Ghost with Demi Moore, who was in A few Good Men with Kevin. Amazing, you really can connect almost anyone with Kevin!!! ( I wouldn't mind being connected with Kevin myself )
