Six days worth of dining...

We will be going in January and I am trying to figure out what table service to do with two kids (4yo boy and 1yo girl). We want to do lots of character meals. Here's what I was thinking:

Liberty Tree Tavern-dinner
Crystal Palace-any meal (which is best?)
Donald's at AK-breakfast
Hollywood & Vine-breakfast or lunch
Chef Mickey's-any meal (which is best?)

I need one more meal..... I am thinking maybe Cape May Cafe for breakfast or 1900 Park Fare. I am worried about taking them to a "nice" restaurant. We did Alfredo's two years ago and my son (then 2) was well behaved, but I'd rather do character meals so they will be engrossed in characters. He loved the character meals that we did the last two times at WDW and DL.

If you do choose to add another meal maybe Ohana is a good fit. You can pick up Lilo and Stitch and avoid too much overlap.

I'd agree about the character meal overload, but then again I don't know your children.

nah, not too many character meals. We do one a day too. for the final meal I'd suggest 1900 Park Fare. Its one of the few places to see Mary Poppins, Alice and the Mad Hatter. This meal is how we end out trip each year.

We are doing 7 character meals in 9 days. My kids will be 5, 3, 17 months. You can't eat with characters at home in a restaurant. We are doing the coral reef as our only 'normal' restaurant. I think the kids might like seeing the fish. I like the buffet idea, can eat as much as we want, can be loud, can choose what you want. It depends on whether or not you will find it to be too many character meals. Your kids will probably love it. I can't imagine the average 4 year old complaining "not another meal with the characters!" (although there is probably one out there somewhere).
