I'm here now, 5 nights 6 days, I have an annual pass. I hop every day, yesterday to 3 parks. I rely totally on Disney transportation. I think it might depend on your goal. I'm not using any of the Genie + pay features and have been able to ride what I want but I'm not real ride centric. If you are going to pay the $15 a day, most people find it helpful to do a park you aren't really going to need it for in the morning then book all your rides for the afternoon to the park you are going to hop to. I have found, for me, I hop to the park I'm going to either the next day or later in the week at night and can knock out a number of rides then just doing stand by. That way when it comes to doing the park on my reservation day, I'm not really rushed since I've already ridden a lot of rides. Today is my HS day and I was there last night. I did all the rides I wanted to so this morning I will do the rides I sort of want to but if I don't, it's no big deal. Thursday is my MK day 2 and I have already ridden everything I wanted to there so I'll spend the morning shopping then visit a resort or two to look at decorations then probably go to AK later in the day since I didn't see any shows when I was there earlier in the week.
I usually spend until around noon in park 1, got back to the resort for a pool break or to rest then head out to park 2. I've had no issues with transportation, a few times at the very early morning and late at night it has been standing room only on the bus but otherwise not bad. I must be good at the timing thing because I haven't had to wait more than 10 min. for a bus.
