I know most of Kody's speech is off-the-wall, but his vitriol toward Meri during this episode seemed beyond any catfishing. Does she have something on him? It was like he was talking about something we did not know, as viewers. She does not bash him all that much & despite him going on about loyalty she held on for so long.

What am I missing? It felt like - more than his usual - he was speaking about some alternate reality.

They elaborated a bit more in their book but it has been referenced lightly in the show - Meri has always been a control freak and extremely inflexible to different ways of doing things, I think that was what Kody was talking about. Especially before Christine came into the family, Meri was very critical of Kody and Janelle doing things differently. That’s why many times over the years Kody said his wives would never share a kitchen again.

Many fathers can not handle the emotions coming from their own children during a divorce, nor any valid disappointment in them. Much easier to go silent or fall to the side then to face their own children. They want fa la la la la rather than valid processing of emotions...

Also, some men take to new families and children & fail to give equal time to their previous children. Easier to deal with new beginnings and younger children. Where they can try to remain 'the good man' which is really what men live to achieve.

The old house has been off the market for a bit. I haven't seen it reported as sold so no idea the status on that one. But it appears the new one is a go. Sort of looks like they are looking for space to accommodate the 3 adult children comfortable going forward. Because we all know Robyn is never letting them leave.

I've stopped watching. The format of constantly regurgitating previously aired clips has always been annoying and ridiculous time lag of the seasons has resulted in there being absolutely nothing new to see. And due to social media, we know so much more about them than the show has candidly portrayed. After their tragedy, I honestly hoped, for their sakes, that this season would be cancelled and they would just all fade into obscurity while going their separate ways.

Lots of bewilderment over how they are qualifying. I'm guessing some sort of very creative financing, which tends to be his specialty.

Lots of talk about it violating the order, but other people saying that's standard language and doesn't preclude someone from buying a new home. So who knows.

I also heard that Kody counter sued Christine. Not sure exactly what leg he has to stand on, but I guess we'll see.

Kody said last week that he wants to have a lot of space so all the kids could come back and visit whenever they wanted. Sounds like he hasn't given up his "one big house" dream that everyone else shot down years ago. I can't imagine that many of the kids would want to visit him and Robyn, let alone stay with them.

I don't know... I saw the listing and in my eyes it is ugly. But everyone has different tastes. I personally don't even think the house they are in now is that nice. I just don't like that style of houses.

Big houses are nice, but now they have to furnish it, decorate it, keep it clean and in good repair. How can they afford all that, not to mention the mortgage and property taxes? I have a feeling Kody has loans up to his eyeballs and barely has the means to pay them. He and Robyn seem like the kind of people who consider what they want instead of what’s practical.

I think they really missed the mark by airing Christine’s wedding at the end of last season. On the one hand, it would have been horrible to do it this season, given what happened with Garrison, but on the other hand it has really made this season feel pointless. I don’t even really watch anymore I just have it on as background noise when I’m cleaning haha.
